I saw a programme on TV and I find this an interesting, amusing, quirky proposition. Some of the women are gorgeous. Does anyone know the basics of how it works, prices etc. Can I send her back within 30 days and get a refund if it isn't working out?

At a township meeting a citizen told the trustee that he was elected to represent the people and vote the way the majority wanted and the trustee stated that he was elected to do what "he thought was best" for the people.

Where can I find written information to support the citizen? Or is the trustee right?

That's how Bush won! Bush should've brought those "family value" issues back up if he didn't want any Republicans to lose any seats, so more new Republicans could gain more seats. That could have turned it around for them. Those same two controversial issues will be gain most of the spotlight in 2008.
New slogan for Republicans: When in doubt, toss gay marriage and abortion out! (On their @sses!)

Two days ago I was in a strip club in Gatlinburg. There was this blind stripper dancing on the stage. She was not that hot, but I felt kinda sorry for her so I was planning on tucking a dollar or two on her garter belt. I reached out to do this and her damn dog bit me on the arm. The dog bite is now infected and hurts like heck. Do you think that I shoud sue the club or the stripper? Do you think the people that trained the seeing eye dog have any liability?

Or will they continue the fighting and bickering?

The next 2 years could turn out to be the best 2 years the American government has had in a while. IMO, the new Congress will set up an ideal checks and balances system. Bush will no longer have a "rubber stamp" Congress, and Congress will not have a President that will pass everything. Congress also doesn't have the votes to override a veto.

It all comes down to one word: Compromise. Both sides will need to give a little to get a little.

My wife and I are in the US (different cities) on L1 visas. I would like to change my visa status from L1 to L2, obtain an EAD, and live and work in the same city as she is in. We are both from India. I'd really appreciate if someone can clarify the following questions -
1. Can I change my visa status from L1 to L2 while I am in the US? Or do I have to go back to India, apply for an L2 visa and then come into US?
2. How long does it usually take to get an EAD if you have an L2 visa (the assumption is that I'll not find it difficult to get a job in the US)?
3. If my wife goes back to India (even for a short while), how will that impact my visa status? Will I have to leave the country too?
