You can tell by the answers, that many NON military are trying to answer this question. Like they THINK they know how we feel. In fact, they don't....they just know what the biased news tells them.

No, the military does NOT blame Bush. We can actually see what good is happening in Iraq. We know what the news refuses to tell Americans. However, the Iraqi's do need to step it up and take control. They need to assert more pressure. It all comes down to the majority of the troops believing in what they're doing. Don't forget, this is a volunteer military and many of those serving in Iraq joined after 9/11 and knew what the risks were.

For those that say the military can't speak out, you're very wrong. They can and do. For the idiot who said to watch 9/11, that's just what everyone needs to see....some biased propaganda so Michael Moore can make money off the fools who believe him. It's been proved over and over and over that he lied and took what the troops said out of context. Many filed charges against him for it.

For those of you who don't support the war and the troops, don't try to speak for us. We can do that for ourselves. We know what we believe in and we know what we're doing.

I was in the 82ND(11b), and my squad as well as myself blame more of the problem on the prick Media that carry their manicured a**es over there, just to report any and all of the bad things that go on. Now that I am out, that is all I ever see on TV, no wonder everybody thinks we are not doing any good in Iraq, because nobody over here knows the truth. Yes there are some things that need to change, for one pull the media out and let our military do there jobs, two stop this police action bull-sh#t that allot of us didn't train for in the first place and let the fighting folks fight without binding their hands. And what Daidem said as well.

being in the military and currently serving time in Iraq, no i don't blame bush... And for those people who do, thanks for the support, we as a nation need to come behind our leaders, whether or not we like them and support them in the decisions we make, or we become a devided nation, like Iraq is. Personally I don't want to come home to another Iraq.

By the way, to you dimwits who think you know everything about what the military men and women are thinking and feeling, why don't you put on a uniform and try to survive for any length of time over here. It's hard mentally, emotionally, physically, so before you condem us and the man we work for why dont you think about what we are doing for you over here.

Most of the guys I know dont blame bush.. It's not that they think he's right, they just dont give a hoot why they're there, they just know they have a job to do and are focusing on that. They could honestly care less about liberating a country. They have their orders and they are carrying them out without getting themselves or their freinds killed.

The really sad thing is that people are not noticing that those of us who have actually served in Iraq generally state that things are going better than the media and the Democrats claim.

The only people who thing we are losing are the people who have no idea what it is really like over there.

Not the ones I've talked to. Some say it's a mess, some say it's not. Their opinions vary as to who's at fault for it. Most blame the Iraqis.

Please keep in mind that our boys and girls are mostly volunteers. Putting theyselves in harms way because their country, their President asked them to, makes them true "heroes" in my eyes. I am sure they do not blame the president for anything and they will continue to be what they are. The best of the best.
However, they are also human beings, with feelings and loved ones back home. I am sure they do have their own "valid' opinoions. Why dont' you direct your question directly to anyone of them/ I am sure someone will answer.

no we don't...we blame the sitting Iraqi gov. for inability to act, and actually do something. They say...'we want America to leave by this time, and our forces will then assume charge"....that was almost a year ago, they need to act now, and fulfill their end a bit more.
