It must have been while the Neocons were watching the Simpson's, Homer pushed the Nuke button remember at the power plant and sent them all not to Heaven...

Don't be fooled. They haven't figured anything out - except that the guy occupying the White House is incompetent. And that, my dear friend, is what is called "a no-brainer." The election was essentially a referendum on the current president and his refusal to change policy on the war in Iraq (sticking with Rumsfeld was a prime example of that refusal to change).

Think about it. 35 percent of Americans approve of this current president. That is more than a third. (Sure, there is a considerable partisanship involved, but still it is horrendous!) There may be more "blue states" than "red" now, but since the demise of communism "red" (arch-conservatism) has taken hold in a big way. This election was about just how bad things are with this current president, and not that the people are suddenly now enlightened.

The best thing about this election was that the Congress of the United States is certain not to change the U.S. Constitution to try to open the door for a Schwarzzenager presidential bid. (He's ineligible because he wasn't born in the United States.) So there is one popular backward politician that is ineligible for 2008, and that is something.

Almost nothing has changed. Don't be fooled.

Because most Americans relax and go about their daily lives expecting their leaders to do their job, but when corruption starts hitting local, like $3 for 50 cent gas, people dying, losing jobs, etc, then they start paying a little attention and see these leaders for what they really are and there is nothing they can do about it until election day. Now many more Americans see Repubs for what they really are. Which are, wealth and power seekers.

I think it was the late run of scandals against G.O.P. members and raked-up memories of old ones. The untimely hypocrisy revealed by Foley and Hastert's involvement finished us off. Don't forget the number of dead U.S. soldiers!

I'm still waiting to hear exactly what course the Democrats plan to take. They are real good at saying we need to change. Problem is they really don't have any plan at all other than let's change. Oh boy. That's sure gonna get us out of the mess we're in right into another one.

The whole world knew it ALL ALONG, except for the Republicans. I think Bush succeeded in intimating his fellow Republicans to vote for him, and I guess, they are no longer intimidated as reality is INFRONT of them now.

wow. you're mean. i don't care so much about democrats having control in the senate. our president is republican, so that kinda makes up for it. i'm ready to see a democrat come to the presidency and try to handle all this crap that was pushed in Bush's lap by themselves. then the democrats can talk.

I LOVE BUSH!!! I SUPPORT HIM 110%!!!! GO REPUBLICANS!!!!
