No kidding!!! What happened to their fiscal responsibility????

Their so called 1994 "Contract with America" was a 10 point contract and they barely got 3 out of the 10 points done.
It was just a ploy to get them elected!

It had an escape clause. The clause was the basic trivia of it's original goals. It was group of heart felt goals that were better forgotten than passed.
2.1 was The Fiscal Responsibility Act. No Republican Administration has balanced the budget since and including Ronald Reagan.
Bill Clinton, a Democrat did it however in the last two years of his Administration, but It is not about contracts, it is about Federal Policy.

Were replaced by 2002 with Teo-cons had no intention for smaller goverment. Republicans pist of western wing of the republican party, and you see with 5 democrat Governors in the intermountain west. GOP will be back, but I think the Teo-cons will be held in check more next time.
