Sorry to disappoint all you rabid Bush haters. It ain't gonna happen. I gazed into my crystal ball-- I KNOW!
I'm sure you want to know why, so I'll tell you. Fortunately the Democrats who will take over are smarter than some(I have no idea how large that some is) of the people who voted them into office.
They know several things:
It's wasn't their great ideas that got them elected. In many cases a vote for a Democrat was really an anti Republican vote because of the war in Iraq. They were protest votes. The smart Democrats know if they don't do better in the next two years there will be a vote that goes Republican in protest.
They screamed about the budget deficit long and loud. Now they are in a position to do something about it. The real question is not will they do something, but what will they do? Will they cut funding or increase taxes. Democrats don't have a great record for cutting too much out. They do have a record for wanting more taxes. At almost 3 trillion dollars for the budget, shouldn't that be enough?
Even those who would like to get Bush out right now know they were complicit or negligent in most of things that Bush 'might' be impeached for. And it's not real sure Bush has done anything that warrents impeachment. Republicans mad a lot of people mad when they impeached Clinton then didn't close the deal. The whole thing was seen as a waste of time and money. Democrats don't want to make the same mistake.
So, no Virginia, there will be no impeachment. There will be a ton of useless investigations but nothing will result in anything really happening. They will just be appeasement for those who scream impeach the __________.

With control of Congress the Democrats now have much greater power to investigate the activities of the executive branch, including the presidency. They will no doubt use that power. So the answer to your questions depends on what we find out over the next couple of years. If there is an indication that GWB has committed an impeacheable offense, then there is a good chance that the impeachement process would be initiated and therefore a chance that he could be impeached.

no, Democrat Howard Dean reported last night there was no plan to do this in the future. Besides LEGALLY, there is no actual grounds for an impeachment. Morally and ethically possibly, but no legal grounds. He only has 2 yrs left total, by the time the process finished he would already be out of office. Never mind the fact to Impeach, just means to bring charges agains, not remove from office, so it doesn't do any good to even go there.

If not for the war in Iraq I would say yes. Impeachment is never a good thing for the country, but with soldiers dying everyday, it would look ten times worse.

Nancy Pelosi said it is not an item on the table, but she will dig deep into the CIA and Halliburton, so I would not be surprised if we end up hitting that decision later on.
And you can tell how she has shaken up Bush's pride and arrogance already... Great to see him humbled down walking without his little swing, now!

What will it accomplish?
When they attacked Clinton NOTHING got done. We, the people, suffered. No, there is no support for an impeachment. Just hold him in check and ride out his presidency. It's almost over.

No I don't think there is anything they can impeach him for. He would have to do something new.

No, it wouldn't work and it wouldn't be worth it. The dems know that would take longer than the two years he has remaining even if they had grounds to do it.
