NO....

1. Haveing a split government is what we need.....There are not enough dems to override any veto, and the pres. will have to work very hard to save things for the 08' election....meaning in order to get anything they want they will have to work together and compromise.

2. Bush was eleceted by the majority and I feel because of that he should finish out his term....I agree with everything he and the repubs have done, execpt for Iraq....tax cuts, the econmy is strong, stock markets are up.....people tend to focus on the one bad mark, and fail to see anything else....

3. I did not agree with going into Iraq, but now that we are there we can't just pull out....how would you feel if someone came into your house trashed it and then just left....your would be pissed anyway, but not as pissed if they at least stayed and helped clean up the mess....and Bush is a good war time pres....he does what he feels is right and takes no crap from anybody...that is what is need in war time...

By this kind of logic, Bill Clinton should have resigned when his party lost Congress to the Republicans in the middle of his first term. Our system does not work that way. Checks and balances in a democratic system.

That would depend on

1) The President caring about the Republic
2) George W. Bush actually being the man running the country

Besides, his will now be the lamest of ducks Presidency. He won't be able to pass "sweeping" legislation or spend chips from his so-called "mandate." He is essentially castrated. We should all just sit back and enjoy.

No. The American people do not want him to leave office. I think you mistake what the mid-terms mean. Not nearly as many vote in those then the Presidential election and historically a second term president has lost more seats in Congress by a far wider margin.

Bush is daft. he says everything twice. twice he says something. he acts like someone from dukes of hazard. the war in Iraq has nothing to do with his popularity. He has everything to do with his own failure. You got to blame his speech writer as well. They want him to look like a Idiot. Bush has ruined words in the English language like terrorist. people said bush was only after oil. I couldn't believe it but now I just heard him say that himself. How can you kill people to secure your oil supply is he daft. He should quit so the country can get on with progress and entering into this new age of prosperity and opportunity.

No, the President was elected over the handpicked nitwit of the opposing party and his job is not finished. If anyone should resign it's the criminals and crooks like Kerry and Kennedy, and Kennedy and Reid. How about this deal? John Kerry releases his military record or resigns from the Senate.

Hrm...I do not think so. I think that all of those people in DC need to get along and try to come to a bi-partisan collective agreement on how to get things done. It has happened in the past and I think that it can now. I think that with Rumie gone things should get better over there.

Well I suggested the other day that perhaps George would rather spend 100% of his time in Crawford rather than the 95% he does now and then when Cheney takes over he finally has that coronary that's been following him for years at that point who would be in charge? Wait till dems take control of course.
