We free up the military to do other important jobs. I am one of those contractors. I am exposed to the same hostile fire as they are but I don't not see anyone saying support the contractor.
I am retired from the Army as well and was over here in Iraqi Freedom 1 and 2. We work 7 days a week 12 hour days to support them.

I would support you doing that very same thing here in America. Please come home and put your work efforts back into our country for our people.

Well, first of all, not many people know that there ARE such contractors... Secondly, many people consider you to be “mercenaries”. That has become something that is considered socially undesirable. Also, you’re kind of envied and/or resented by us regular Army guys who get paid about 1/10th the salary you do. This may not be what you want to hear but, I’m just trying to give up the facts. But, some do understand what you do and how dangerous it is and wish for your safety just as much as they do for the soldiers.

Well, us real conservatives do support you. And we will continue to appreciate that there are contractors out there that are willing to risk their lives, even when all the libs look at them as evil and corrupt. If I had the chance, I'd work for Haliburton in a minute. They are a great, patriotic, AMERICAN company.
Thank You very much!
And scre* all those people up there that consider you "mercenaries". They're idiots.

What kind of "support" are you wanting? Do you really need a box of socks are candy when you are making like $100,000 more per year than most young military members are making? Good for you that you are doing a good thing but I think more of the support should go to our military members who actually need it!

Maybe its because Halliburton was given a plumb because of dick cheney at the expense of the American people. I will not support any company whose main goal seems to be to screw the American public out of as much money as possible.

It's because the media doesn't give contractors the exposure they deserve and they should. it is unfair, I know. and thank you for keeping our military men and women safe.

your getting paid the big money to be over there. you probably volunteered for duty. you want to be there unlike some of the soldiers that are being deployed because its their job to do so.

Maybe because you are getting paid 5 times what a soldier is getting paid.

Your company is there for one reason and one reason only....... To make money.

You should all be ashamed...........
