Bad news for the troops.

The Democrats feel that defeat will serve them politically. So they will work to ensure that defeat.

The real losers in this election will be the Iraqi people.

The question that you're asking is one being debated all across America right now and in the future. The democrates taking both congress and the senate will definately have an impact of some kind. What exactly, they probably don't even know. My guess would be a gradual withdrawl from Iraq spanning over the coming years, that is if the President will allow that. It could go the other way too, a possible increase in military presence in efforts to "get it done right" in hopes of earlier withdrawl. Democrats and Repulicans alike support the troops weather or not they support the war, so I don't see pay cuts happening at all as one suggested earlier. Only time can tell on this one.

Probably do it no good. But take a look at the decline of our forces, while Clinton was in office. The dems having the house AND senate surely spells no good is to come for us military members. First thing they will take away is our pay raises, then god knows what else.
