I just sent my passport to the Indian Embassy in Houston, and they say they sent it back through "United Postal" but when I go to their site (www.unitedpostal.com) all I get is an email and nobody answers, please let me know where I can contact somebody who can help me locate my passport!

Went to the website, strange. Try to find out if they have any sort of tracking system. A number you could look up online or call in somewhere. Here is what I found on google maybe one of the numbers or emails leads to something. For your own peace of mind in the future request a more known carrier like UPS.
