Description of it.
1. It's chinese name is 九节龙
2. It's head and body is same as of a snake(long type fish).
3. It's white-red in colour and has red eyes.

Do I add methelyne blue with adult angels, or add it after they spawn when I remove them? The bottle said add 2 tsp. It is dark. I also need to know what kind of water treatment to add to the tap water with the methelyne blue. I heard not to use amquel with it. This is a 20 gal. tank. Please help! Thanks!

I've read that it's very important for bettas that any water used for a water change be the same temperature as the tank water. Assuming you're keeping the tank at a constant temperature by using a heater, how do you maintain water temperature for the new water in a small bucket or one gallon jar (this is for a small set up)?

I've decided to change my coldwater tank into a tropical one as the variety of fish is far better.

What I want to know is should I get rid of my goldfish or can I keep them in my tank once I've put the heater in? What will happen etc?!

i have a funval 3 filter, im treating my fish for ick/ich. and ppl keep telling me to turn my carbon filtration off? what is that? is it the black sponge in the filter?

ok so my fish have what i believe to be ick/ich! (white spots over there body) it isnt fluffy or anythink! not all of them have it. the two blue platys have it slightly, my mollie has it slightly, the two kuhli loaches have it slightly and the two clown loaches seem to have it the worst, and they seemed to be the most irratated by it as they keep flicking themselfs in the gravel. my dwarf gourami, two red platys and male betta dont seem to have any white spots on them. i did a 25% water change 3days ago, then 2days ago i did a 75% water change bcuz my 3yr old decided to tip the whole tub of fish food in the tank. (please dont tell me i shouldnt have done this, bcuz its done now and theres nothink i can do about it) my fish seem really happy and healthy! then yday i put some treatment in for there ich/ick. and ive gotta do that every other day so the intructions say! the thing i want to know is should i see a change yet? bcuz i dont! they still have the white spots! also how often

i was treating my fish for fungus, which this site www.fishdoc.co.uk said looked like greyish or white cotton wisps, and that's what my fish looked like he had on his dorsal fin and tail. however, i noticed last night that he now has the little salt like specs that describe ick!! what happened? i've been treating him with ick away, or malchite green. does ick have different stages once it's atached to a fish? we got the fish from walmart and we noticed the fungus when he got home.

I was at Wal-Mart yesterday and was looking at the fish there (not buying any, just looking out of curiosity... hey, i was bored). I was looking at the fish decorations, etc, and my fiance was looking at this tank with 4 latge goldfish in it. He told me to come look at it because three of the fish were all nipping and biting the largest goldfish. They would even pin him against the wall, and trap him in. It made me sad to watch, so i went away, but he continued to watch them while i went and got things i needed. 20 minutes later, they were STILL atacking the one fish. It was always the same fish.

Does anyone know why they would do that?

Hi there am training my betta to fight, for some reason two fish pecking at each interested me and my friends, so i bought 5 gold fish and 1 male betta, i put them in all together over about a week all of them were dead (except the Male betta) anyways to get to my question

Could you please help, im a new fishi owner i have a very small black more in a tank with a small comet and small fan tail there where bought together about 4 weeks ago all good,
But my black moor is not looking so good he seems to be loosing color underneath a bit scaley looking tail all limp and bashed up really also his top fin is not showing... All i can think of in the last day is that they have tried a new flake feed. (diff brand) Im gonna do a water change tomorrow... Is he ill ?

I gave my fish there first treatment for ick (white spot) yday.
i was just wondering how quickly should i be seeing it clear up?
as my fish still seem to have the ick, and the same amount as they had before the treatment!
there next treatment isnt until tomoz, do you think they'll be ok?
there all still very active, and eating like pigs lol

i have a 75 gallon aquarium with pump dirt magnet , 60 gallon whisper filter , and a heater , the water should be fine i use start right for the water i have a oscar i have had him for about 3 years ive had it since it was about 3 inches and for about a month it hasent been eating it's slow he doesent look to good hes getting little holes in him i don't know what to do i love my fish and i don't like to see him like this
