Feed your fish green veggies.....peas cabbage etc. If you feed him these things on a weekely basis, this will keep him regular.

This should cure him fairly quickly.

depends how long you had this fish.... well there are a few reasons he could be bloated if its a goldfish he could have swim bladder you can try to cure it but if hes got swim bladder he can live along time that way i think its a waste of money to try to cure it because i have spent alot of money and time tying to save my goldfish from this and they end of dieing anyways .... but hes a few things you can do you can try to give him peas if its gas it will help the gas go away .also get the sinking food pellets they sink to the bottom to prevent the swim bladder

once a goldfish "bloats" there really is not much you can do
if he is eating, then feeding him an exceptionally high fiber food or a laxative such as sorbital, may help if constipatin is the cause, more bloating is caused bu bacterial infection and buy the time they are bloated their organs are failing

those fish dont eat, and should be destroyed

I'd try Metro-Meds followed by Medi-gold. If its dropsy (scales sticking out all over like a pine cone) that's incurable and the fish needs to be euthanized.

The best thing you can do is to feed your goldfish green veggies. Peas, cukes, lettuce, greens any green veggies will work.

If you feed them greens on a weekly basis, this will help keep them regular and their swim bladders in top shape.

Proper food and proper dosage. I think there's also water additives.

Be careful, if not treated well, it can lead to death. Ask your local pet store for the proper treatments, it DOES need to be treated.
