Fish have a 3 sec. memory, but they also have a nervous system. So yes they do feel pain.

yes they have a well developed central nervous system and senseory system....most creatures feel pain.............so think about that people who go fishing catch them rip there mouths open, suffocate them for a few minutes then throw them back to be eaten by other fish.....sorry i just hate fishing/hunting..

They feel pain. All living creatures with nerves and a brain do. Only plants don't "feel" pain,but they also respond to stimuli.

i heard that they dont, cause they did an operation on a fish and didnt need to give it pain stuff cause they said they dont feel pain. so your guess is as good as mine (like deep pain i think they were talking about) they may feel a scratch or something

I've wondered that myself.
I've fished for years and watched alot of fish quiver from the hook pain that was in their mouth.
