im told that any higher then 12 inches of water can pop goldfish eggs

so what is a recomended water level (in inches)

I have a red eyed tetra , ghost shrimp and a couple of mollies. I want to add about 4 guppies to the tank but i'm not sure if they would make good tank mates. And I don't know what type of foods they eat. Can somebody please help me out ? Thank You!

My fish is sittin on the ground and doesnt eat, it just lays on the ground and just sits there. it has been like that for 2 days. it sits in one cornor of my tank and sinks to the bottom
i think it is sick but i cant fing any helo so im worry if you can helo me.

I bought a female betta fish from a pet store a few months ago. I feed her HBH Betta Bites, and up until a couple of days ago she was eating every day. But now when I feed her she comes up to the food, looks at it, then swims away. I don't know why she is doing this! I was thinking maybe her water is too cold.. It is about 69 degrees. I have her in a glass bowl. Is there a heater for a tank that small? Her coloring also seems less vivid.
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I already have Balloon Mollies... what order should I put the rest in? heres the list... Neon Tetras , Guppies , Blue Shrimp , Tiger Snails and Otocinclus... I have live plants in the aquarium, and I read if you have plants, you should get an algae eater near the beggining. (I would put an Otocinclus obviously)

my fish is always swimming around really fast and he seems to always be hungry. i havnt had a goldfish in a really long time and i cant tell what he wants or if he happy. he moved from a VERY big tan to my 2.5 gallon one, i dont know if it bothers him being in a smaller tan. and he us to be in a tan with 20 other fish, but was picked on. do you think he is getting lonely though? should i get him another fish?

I noticed today that one of my angelfish has his eyes all red. The centre black part of the eye is fine but all around that it is all red. None of my other fish seem to have this. Anyone know what is going on?

I have heard of some people who keep crayfish with their small fish, like dwarf gouramis and such. I've always wanted one and I'd like to know about their compatability with small fish.

I'd like to build it using acrylic. It would be fairly small, approx. one & a half feet long & about one foot high, perhaps only a couple of inches wide, fresh water, using smaller fish only & not too many. Hope this all makes sense. Thank you in advance for any help you may provide.

African (Malawi) cichlid tank. 75 gallons, established. PH 7.5-8.0. Chichlid salt used. No plants, only rockscape. Bought 6 puffers ~8 weeks ago. Feed mosquito larvae, brine shrimp, krill. I feed them once a day. Occasionally skip a day. Also pellet, flake, cichlid food. The puffers don't seem to eat these. No signs of illness. No problems with other fish in the tank. Found three of the puffers dead, two days ago. One is now sick. THe other two lay on the bottom but seem to have revived and are swimming around None of them have looked sick- no ich, fungus, etc. Help. I really like these guys and am not sure what to do. Is the Ph too high for them? Not enough or too muh salt? No cover? Wrong food? looked them up on the net but cannot find the answers to these questions. I have a community tank and a guppy tank I could move them to if the ph is an issue (they are 7.0)- but if so, how do you do it without shocking them by the ph change? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
