I am not interested in breeding beta, but my male beta made a bubble nest and i am unsure if it will go away on its own or if i should take it out. Thanks!

Just leave it, he would only build another anyway. When he gets board with it it will dissipate on it's own.

All it is,is bunch of air bubbles. If there is no female it does not matter. The male would have to squeeze the eggs out of the female,if you had an egg-heavy female. He will prepare the bubble nest on a regular basis even with no female present.

young male bettas love making bubble nests to pass the time -- they are harmless and usually just a sign your betta is healthy and happy. i don't think they get aggrivated when you clean and they have to start all over again.

Leave it's not hurting anything - it's just what they do.
If you remove he will just make another one.
