I have a couple of real old (1980's bages of old "White", not Brownish, as it's sold today) bags of Florida Crushed Coral Gravel that I was wondering if it would be all right for the bottom of my mangrove/mudskipper tank?

I have 3 tetra neons missing from my tank. I have an adult Gourami who seems quite aggressive towards the other fish and was wondering if it may have eaten them ?? Any suggestions ?? I am sure I haven't lost them in a water change or the filter.

Is there such a thing as a dwarf Pleco? I've had one in a 55gal tank for over a year and it's only about 3", not much bigger than when I got it. It eats on the tank and I feed it algae discs. It looks very healthy. My tank is not overcrowed. I only have a total of 21" of fish.

55 gallon tank, two big filters (not sure of size), three barbs, one little shark, an angel fish, a pleco, and two snails. No live plants, no dead fish. Clear water, clean rocks. I don't over feed. It's not by a window. But it's making my house reek!

I have a 25 gallon tank. In my tank I have an Alge feeder, 3
Red-Eyed tetras, 2 Mollies, and 4 Platies. My Mollies got pregnant and had 2 babies. I put them out of reach of the other fish still in the same tank. The babies are approximatly 1cm long. Can I put them with the other fish?

unfortunately, thats the best pic i can get. the first time i noticed a change in his fin was the day after i fed my plecos a bunch of stuff. i gave them cucumber, peas, lima beans, corn, and sliced chestnuts (i thought they were potatoes ). the cucumber was held down by 3 forks.

the last time i fed my plecos a cucumber, held down the same way, the OTHER pleco of mine got something really similar on one of his pectoral fins. at first i thought he pierced it with the fork, but the wound started to get worse.. the hole got bigger, and spread to his other. fingers on the fin .. it only lasted a couple of days, and it healed on its own- so i concluded that it WAS the fork.

now the other one has something going on. it started out with a red/white mark - with an open hole on his dorsal. the hole got bigger, the white/red spread... i dont think its fin rot.. i figured that it might be a battle wound from the other pleco? an allergic reaction to the cucumber or chestnuts? what is it?

Can you get a Argyroneta aquatica for a tank? Do you know of web pages that talk about keeping as pets? Or how you get one?

I have asked this question earlier and got some answers but everything I try is just killing my fish.
They appeared to have ich on them so I got some ich clear fizzing tablets and tried that, did nothing, added some aquarium salt to help them...did nothing. I had a guppy that appeared to have it the worst and last night his tail had a lot of white spots on it.... this morning he was dead with his tail almost gone. It's completely torn up and another of my tiger barbs are dead. I have four more tiger barbs and I'm afraid they're about to die because their fins are clamped in and they all stay towards the top in a corner and haven't eaten in about 24 hours.

One of my barbs just started to float, but now is kicking again.

I have no idea what the deal is. It looks like ich, they act like it's ich, but ich treatment is doing nothing

I want to get a betta fish and like the look of the large vases. I have read conflicting reports about the size of the container, some say they like the smaller containers because they are used to that, some say they like the larger containers so they can stretch their fins, what do you think?
