I have a 25 gallon tank. In my tank I have an Alge feeder, 3
Red-Eyed tetras, 2 Mollies, and 4 Platies. My Mollies got pregnant and had 2 babies. I put them out of reach of the other fish still in the same tank. The babies are approximatly 1cm long. Can I put them with the other fish?

It really is as simple as when they are big enough not to fit in their mouths. Once they pass that size, they have a low chance of being swallowed whole.

If you really want them to live, make sure there big enough so the other fish can just swallow them. Even so there should be a lot of plants so the fish can hide.

They should be OK after a couple of weeks,I've been told that the size they attain is not as important as their bones being developed enough that they are difficult for the larger fish to swallow. Still I'd err on the side of caution.---------PeeTee

I would say big enough that they won't fit in the big fish's mouths.

if you have a lot of 'plants', tall and short, they should be just fine. It gives them a place to hide.
