Is there such a thing as a dwarf Pleco? I've had one in a 55gal tank for over a year and it's only about 3", not much bigger than when I got it. It eats on the tank and I feed it algae discs. It looks very healthy. My tank is not overcrowed. I only have a total of 21" of fish.

It's not a golden spot, but I would say brown and not dark.

First of ways vast of a tank do you go with to purchase? maximum pleco (cat fish) improve super. It does matter to boot how vast you're tank is. occasion: in case you had a tank approximately permit's say 2 hundred litres potential a pleco would easily improve to twelve-14 inches long. if the tank had a potential of say one hundred litres it might probable attain not greater then 6-8 inches. besides the undeniable fact that Dwarf pleco is fairly small and without looking in my e book improve greater advantageous then 6 inches yet maximum will improve plenty vast. Temperature clever 22-24 centigrade. pleco's are vegetarians so no problems with Molly's & guppies i'd purchase a minimum of three feet for tank length value to purchase a pleco relies upon on the place you purchase you have got greater then a million yet no greater advantageous than 3 Too be common i think of you would be able to desire to do plenty greater learn into this activity and locate out for your self relating to the pleco and different fish. Then come to a decision the place you go with to circulate with the activity.

There are a few different types of plecos. I know there is one that only gets 5 inches when full grown. (I think it is more of a brown tint though, rather then a dark one)

There is also another type, usually expensive, I believe called a golden spot pleco (something like that) that does not get that large either.
