I give my fish around two shakes of food a day, and some of it sinks to the bottom. Is this okay? How can I make sure he eats it?

I know they're not likely to hatch, but if it does happen then what should i do? Don't i have to get them out of the tank and into a different one before the parents eat them all? And if so, then how do that?

My snails are not dead, there floating at the top of the water. Every now and then they will grab a hold to something and stick but mostly I have seen them floating at the top. Don't know anything about snails so can someone please tell me what's happening now?

I have a 50 gallon tank and had two of my fish die within 2 days of each other. They both had simailer symptons. Wriggling around, laying at the bottom of the tank and then dying. One was a bala shark and the other was a clown loch. I have no idea how they died and would like to find out.

We have a new aquarium. We have let the tank season (let the tank run a few days, filtering, heater on, all of that), before we added any fish. We cannot get the pH low enough. We have well water and Ive been told thats typically really alkaline, which yes it is , we bought the entire testing kit for aquariums, weve used 2 bottles of pH down, in proper intervals, trying to get it to lower. I read somewhere someone suggested that we soften our water before we even try to use it in an aquarium. Anyone else have well water or pH problems that could help us out please?

Okay. I have a one-gallon fish bowl with a black moor, a mini white koi, and a red molly.

1. Do goldfish prefer pellets or flakes?
2. I need to transport them to school on Monday (they're going to live in my classroom) and I need the best way to do so without murdering them all.

Thanks!

2nd day with my fishies (both males). How can you teach them cool tricks, such as jumping through a hoop? Does it take a lot of time? Is there anyway to make them move more? Any cool games to play? Mine seem pretty anti-social, and it makes me worried that I may have picked up the wrong type of fish for my kids!

I have 5 cories, 2 danios, 1 male betta, and two female bettas in my 29 gallon community tank. I have a gold gourami also, but I'm trying to get rid of it. The bettas are fine with the other fish if you're wondering.

I am going to add a few more danios, but I really want some interesting fish for my tank. I don't want to have to order it online.
What are some interesting (and not too expensive) fish I could get?
