he is not housebroke, but i have been able to get him to go outside to pee. it is like the people i got him from abused him.He seems to be warming up to me, it is like i got a shadow. please help me. i had a stroke a year ago and i do not remember how to do a lot of training. thank you very much!!!

Well, many youngsters or teenagers on yahoo answers are beggging their parents to get them a puppy when their parents can't get one.

I am just wondering, what is the age that people are mature enought to get a puppy?

I am 16 years old and I am going to get a shiba inu, i know their temperment, genetic disorders, diseases and everything. When I go to college, my parents and grandparents are going to looks after it. If its a nearby college, i will live at home.

Do you think at 16, its a bad age to get a dog? At what age are people mature enough to get a puppy?

i have a puppy outside who has a few sore on him and i dont know why i think mayb it is form the files or gnats because they are always around him my dog is not dirty he gets baths and he has a clean yard it only around his private part? the gants and flies are around there

okay I have seen people say wait two years and then some say you can breed her on her second heat. what is your opionion and why? and if all your going to say is dont breed there are a million homeless pets save your energy and dont answer this question. thanks

they dont want 2 becuz they think it is 2 much work, will not get along well with our 2 cats, and they will b stuk with it once i go away 2 college. but i would take very good care of a dog if we got one. do u guys have ny good arguments y i should b able 2 get a dog? i want a dalmatian puppy :)

following u around without running off being very loyal to u i m thinking about a sheltie since they r soo smart and trainible. and ya i will keap him leashed but untill he will be trainted to follow me unleashed like everybody elses dog where i live. so is a sheltie a good way to go for this?

Okay, I had the question about my dog getting a recurring urinary tract infection. A couple knowledgeable contributors suggested possible change in diet. What about Newman's Own Dog Food - would that be a good alternative to the Kibbles and Bits he has always eaten? Will it be easy to switch him? Will it harm him in any way? Thanks.

My grandma's peekapoo has "seizures" every couple of months. He is on medication for it but it doesn't help much. What happens is that he goes limp and shakes for about five minutes. After that he is just fine. Any suggestions?

Actually, my neighbor does, I'm posting this for her. It has to be free, and the puppy needs to already have his or her shots and be potty trained. And it has to be small, even when it is grown up. Will be taken care of very well!!!

I keep my dog on a 100 Ft tie out in my yard, and i keep her on that with a choker chain. If i use another type of collar, she gets out of it and gets loose. But i worry that the choker will hurt her throat? Thanks!

I have a four month old Weimaraner that is having severe issue with urinating in the house. At first the vet thought it might be a UTI and put her on antibiotics for 5 days with no results. Now I follow a strict routine of letting her out for 5-10 minutes every hour on the hour when I am at home. That has solved some of the issues, but now it has taken a different turn over the last week. Now she pees when I go to put the leash on her. She will usually completely empty her bladder in the 5-10 seconds it takes for me to put the leash on her. I live in an apartment and have spent the entire Labor Day weekend cleaning up pee stains from the carpet. Help!
