Dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) belong to to canidae family. They are closely related to wolves, dingoes, jackals and coyotes.
Foxes while related belong to the vulpine group of canids.
Hyenas are more closely linked with the mongoose type animals than dogs.

The Wolf is the ultimate relative. All dogs come from the lineage of the Wolf.

The parents of a dog are referred to Dam for the mother and Sire for the father. Their parents would be Grand Dam and Grand Sire.... adding a great per generation back. Siblings would be litter mates if born in the same litter. Brothers and sisters if not. Then there are aunts and uncles....

"Dogs" are in a canine group. They're not so much "related" to other species, as there are a variety of canines. Wolves, dingo, hyena, etc.
I'm not sure if this is at all what you were looking for.

Wolves and coyotes are the closest, as well as other members of the Genus "Canis".
Foxes aren't really that close - they are a different Genus ("Vulpes").
