I have a two/three-year-old white German Shepherd female. She's spayed, current on shots and has no health conditions that we know of. Recently, she started smelling extremely bad, usually after laying down for awhile, and this isn't usual dog order. She will be laying seven feet away from me and I will be overwhelmed with a horrible almost stale/moldy feet smell. (I kind of reminds me of rotten fritos chips.) We gave her a thorough bathing but the smell has been coming back. The thing is, it isn't always there, like it only seems to come after she's been lying down for awhile. I'm fairly sure it isn't gas, it smells nothing like that, and she has been on the same diet for over a year but I haven't been able to figure out what's making her smell so bad. Any ideas on whats causing this or tips on how to eliminate this horrible odor?
