i have a yellow lab and she did that a couple of times this past year. i basically let it go but watched her for a couple of days. then she started eating again as usual. so my advice is give it a day or two then take it to the vet. so long as it still drinks some water from time to time. it would most likely mean just a little upset tummy. if the dog is eating grass when you let it outside it's a sure sign of upset tummy and the grass will help it throw up.

As soon as your parents come home, tell them this exactally. Then call the vet and make an appointment. But untill your parents come home this is what you do: place the dog on a towel in a cool dry place. Always watch him or be near him so he is comfortable. Finally try to get him to drink some water and slowly rub his stomache every 5-10 mins.

- good luck!!

When will your parents get home? Can you call them? Can you take a taxi/cab to the vet? What about a neighbor or friend?

If you have to wait at home, go online and look for vets/questions and answers. Try to find the same symptoms so you can get an idea of what is happening. Good luck!

We can't help you over the internet hon, we can't see the animal!

When your parents get home (today presumably) explain what is happening and get them to drive your dog to the vet. Vomiting, diarrhoea and not eating is serious. In the meantime, phone your vets and explain the situation, ask when the soonest you can bring your dog in is. Give your dog access to all the water he wants, and don't try to make him eat, or give him any other oral treatment, despite what people on here might say.

It may be nothing, my chihuahuas throw up all the time, especially when they eat too much rawhide. You can call your vet, and just ask then what to do, just explain to them that you can't bring the dog in right now, but ask if there is anything you can do for your dog, or what may be causing it.

Just call the vet. Tell them your puppy's symptoms and anything that it has eaten or done that is out of the ordinary. I have done this many times and they are always glad to help. They can tell you what to do for him & give you a little peace of mind until your parents get home and can take him there.

Hope he feels better soon!!!

This is the first sign that your dog has probably swallowed something he shouldn't have. He needs to get to the vet's office soon.

All you can do until your parents get home is to keep him comfortable. If he has diarrhea you could keep him in a bed of shredded newspaper in case he doesn't make it outside in time.

To help with the dairrhea problem--give him some pure pumpkin__not much, he is a small dog.--and mix it with some white rice. Hopefully that will help. Good Luck.

dogs often get sick at their stomach, there are somethings they can't digest. Or they have over eaten. As long as there isn't the diarrhea, you shouldn't have a problem.
