The shelter where I adopted him says he's a Basenji mixed with stray. The basenji I definitely see but The other part I can't tell. I started searching dog breeds and to me he looks like Basenji/Canaan mix, Can I post a pic and someone can tell me what they think?

We're trying to convince my parents to let us get a dog but we need one that is easily house trained because we just moved into a new house. Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated.

OK, I live in florida where it gets very hot. And he leaves his dog, who is a sweet tri colored lab/pitt mix out side in his dirty, and very smelly yard with out food and water. He has a dog house but the dog dosent know how to use it, and the only reason he has it is because animal control told him to buy one, and the dogs eye is very red and swollen, and is weeping, its been like that for months. nd he just recently got this cute little puppy out of the paper for free. And she is infested with fleas, and her tounge is very white, and I think I read somewhere thats because of the fleas? I have tried to help both. The lab mix I fed him secretly till at least till he was fat, and got the man to get a 75 foot runner from tree to tree for him. But I dont know what to do with the eye. I buy big dog biscuitts for my Dobie, and cure/pitt mix and I give the big doggie a couple a day and pet him. But He is extremly lonley.The puppy, I have given her a flea bath, but she has them again.

My dog jumped up and landed on it's spine awkwardly and now one of the discs moved and he can't move from the waist down...

The doctor said that it might not be permanent. How can I help soothe it and make the chances of it not being permanent better?

All suggestions welcome :(

The day before she died, we decided to bring her to a vet the next day, but it was all too late. I woke up early that day and when I went outside, I lost her. I really loved her. Everytime I think of her, I cry. I cried and mourned for more than a week after she died.

My dog seems sick,but my parents claim she is just misbehaving. We have had our dog, Yuki, for 4 years now. She has always been very good at home, going outside, and she barely ever threw up. However, ever since my parents went to Costa Rica, and me and Yuki went from house to house for a week, she has been completely different. She has been throwing up constantly, peeing many times in a day, and sleeping all the time.

Whats going on with her?

I have a male labrador retriever, and he is really gentle and he loves cats and other dogs. He is almost 6 years old. He accepted my kitten fast! About the chihuahua... boy or girl? I went to a pet store and met the boy ones (they seemed fighsty) , and my neighbor across the street has a girl chihuahua(she seemed really calm and sweet). She let me play with the puppy for an hour or so at my house. My dog really loved her and my cat just got kinda freaked out... but he'll be fine. My male dog is fierce over his terratory though (with males)... I am leaning more towards the girl side! They seem sweeter than the boys and calmer. I asked my friends and family what they thought, but most said girls... because you can dress them up cute. That is not the reason why I want a girl though. I think a girl may be better for my dog. Please tell me what you think... don't just throw in some stupid answers, please! Thank you and I am looking forward to see what everyone thinks...

She is a rotti x shepherd x husky so she has thick fluffy fur but she is leaving trails of dog hair everywhere.I have so much i could stuff a pillow and sell it.I brush her and brush her and bathe her and it never stops coming.I'm not going to shave her and i wont sell her so don't tell me useless things like that.
