you guys always talk about Beneful, Iams, Royal Canine....where do you guys get the money from to buy these brands? They are way toooo expensive.... i know you want the best for your dog but seriously, isnt that over the top?
Its like 80 bucks for 15kg (about US$65 for 30 pounds i think) i mean my 2 pups (large breed) will probably eat that in a week...

I already have two dogs(a 3 year old Dashund and a 11 year old Dalmation) they both get along with each other and other dogs. They both enjoy each others company. As my dalmation aged he no longer loves to play fetch or romp with my dashund.
I have a feeling my dashund is nat having enough fun(or excersice) by playing with me alone. Im thinking of either buying a baby poodle or adopting a young one. But im not sure if its a good idea. I'm not wanting my dalmation to feel unloved. But i also don't want my dashund to become unhealthy and lazy. His energetic spirit is one of the qualities i love most about him. I need another persons point of view.

I am a volunteer at the local PSPCA and the main thing I do is take dogs for walks. A lot of the dogs pull on the leash. I like to learn some tricks to make them stop this so these dogs are more adoptable to potential owners. Also, I ended up with a blister on my hand by the end of volunteering.

Do dogs teeth fall out like babies?
My husband says that our puppy's teeth will eventually fall out and get his permanent teeth like babies do. Is this true? List your sources.

Apparently they have a similar gene to the recessive gene that causes white tigers and it has no problems that usually go along with white abnormals (deafness and blindness). Its not albino just a white recessive coloring. Ijust wondered if anyone else had heard of this or seen it. I was reading some veterinary gene studies on breeds with known origins (the original crosses) and came across it. Interesting reading and very useful if you want to know why certain inheirent diseases are breed specific (eg hypothyroidism, epilepsy and other diseases affecting the brain function). You come across the weirdest things and i have never heard of a white doberman.

I have a ten year old female Pomeranian who loves fruit. She loves tangerines and oranges, but I haven't been able to find out if these things are safe for her to eat. She also likes grapes, but we found out that they could cause kidney failure, so we stopped giving them to her. I just want to make sure oranges and tangerines are safe for her before we feed her anymore. Also, maybe you know about other kinds of fruits or vegetables she could eat.

i have spent hundreds at the vets, she had to go on anti-biotics & steroids for 6weeks but even after that her skin has started to flare up again. the vet said its a skin infection & they dont know the exact cause for it (how helpful!) she isnt itching constantly but her skin is in red bald patches & it looks & feels horrible. Is there any shampoo i can buy that will help to save me keep spending hundreds for pills that just do not last?

I just adopted a new puppy from my local humane society. She's a 10 week old Pit Bull German Shepheard Cross. She is absolutely adoreable, a carmel/brown tigerstripe with the brightest brown eyes you've ever seen. She's very docile sweet so I don't want an aggressive names like Tiger, Roxy, Killer , but nor do I want any mushy ones like cuddles or fluffy. I also don't want to name her after her color like carmel... So I'm having difficulty. Any Ideas?

The vet thinks she picked it up on a walk and ate it. It's cost us a fortune and affects our insurance. Can we ask for tests to confirm that it is cannabis (they've taken lots of blood tests, urines tests, x-rays etc) and not some hidden underlying problem which will emerge later?

SB861 is planning to kill every pitbull in america.

Why should we kill the pitbulls we love and care about?

It's not the pitbulls, it's there mean owners that makes them mean they can make any dog mean its just the breed of dog they picked.

we have killed enough i say we leave these animals alone. They are gods creation. just like us.

I want your opinion on this.

Tell me your answer and why that is.

Thank you.

I have a chocolate lab, that suffers all the time with ear infections, due to a short ear canal. Does anyone know of any remedies that can be used to prevent the build up of wax, which is what keeps causing these infections. I have always used an ear wash from the vet, which costs £18 a month. I know this sounds tight, but due to my suddenly becoming a single parent, this is putting quite a big hole in what is now a small pocket!. I would be really grateful for any ideas.
Thanks
