try getting a crate or fenced cage in the house then you can lay old disgusting blankies down with3-4 layers of the newspaper. keep her inside it till she goes. when she does reward her that she did it on the newspaper. dont do this to long.then take the blankies away eventually, and start walking her more around meals. set up a dailly schedule for her. email me at krisrichardsons@ yahooo.com

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aL3VF
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

raising a puppy is like raising a child, it isn't an off and on thing, you have to pay constant attention to them every minute they are awake, and never leave them unsupervised.
if you pay close attention, you will notice your puppy's 'signs' that she is ready to go potty, (usually right after a meal,) and that is when you should take her outside. when she does her business, praise her.
if she does not, and you bring her inside, don't let her loose from the leash right away, WATCH HER, and when she looks like she has to go potty, take her outside, even if she wets you on the way out the door. keep it up, don't relax, until she understands that she is supposed to do it outside, not inside!
(PS: If she only gets thirty minutes out, that isnt enough time for her to relax. I bet she spends most of her time dragging you around, and is very excited, and then when she gets in the house she relaxes, and that is when she feels the urge to go potty.)

She may be anxious outside - her own territory may be more reassuring. Try using the puppy pad or paper system - move it gradually towards the door. ALWAYS praise - NEVER punish - it's counter-productive, and will only make her anxious. Dogs do not have full control over their bladders until they are about six months. Get a book about puppy care - you will need it for first aid etc. Give her love, good luck!

You have to continue to take her out a lot. Do not come back in until she has gone potty. Then praise her like crazy. Most puppies don't get full control of there bladders until 4 to 5 months. My vet gave me this advice. when she goes pee or poo take her to it and tell her NO. then clean it up with a paper towel and take it and her outside let her sniff it and tell her GOOD. dogs like to go where they have been before. Always take them to the same door. And ask her in a fun way do you need to do your pee. Make it seem exciting. Dogs just want to please us. And when she goes praise praise praise. Good luck to you and your puppy.

dog crate.... keep the dog in the crate, let him out every 45 minutes to relieve itself each time it has relieved itself give pup some more free space. pups need to go around every 45 minutes or so and after a nap, food, water etc.catch her in the act and gently pull and shake her scruff as mother dog would do and put her outside..... dont put her in crate as the punishment....whenever you cant be attneding to her crate it...
our pup was trained in a fortnight this way and now is a home dog without the crate!

Yes, it's almost impossible to get dogs to sit on potties - Put her back in diapers, that will teach her.

Jamemom has good advice. I'll just add one thing - if you are going out for a comfort stop don't WALK the entire time. Stand in one spot and let her sniff in a circle till she gets bored. Better yet load your odds go out when she's clearly thinking she needs to pee....
