I just adopted a new puppy from my local humane society. She's a 10 week old Pit Bull German Shepheard Cross. She is absolutely adoreable, a carmel/brown tigerstripe with the brightest brown eyes you've ever seen. She's very docile sweet so I don't want an aggressive names like Tiger, Roxy, Killer , but nor do I want any mushy ones like cuddles or fluffy. I also don't want to name her after her color like carmel... So I'm having difficulty. Any Ideas?

I know you don't want to name her after her color, but one of my Shepherds' ancestors was named Amber. I always thought it was pretty. You might try a German name, too, just not as obvious as "Heidi." Try Liesl (Lee-sul) or Ilse (Ill-suh). Since you adopted her from the shelter, you might call her Lucky, too.
