Instead of buying a dog from a breeder, try looking at the shelters in your area. A "pound puppy" is grateful to be adopted and they love you just as much if not more. You'd be suprised to see that there are full blooded dogs there, too, not just mutts.

You mean you want to BUY a Pug. There is no such thing as a white Pug. You are not going to find a reputable breeder selling white Pugs. You will be able to find fawn Pugs and black Pugs only.
I live in Victoria and the way I found my VCA registered, ethical and reputable Dalmatian breeder is through http://www.dogzonline.com.au . They only show good breeders who screen their dogs of hereditary diseases (particularly important with Pugs) and show their dogs. I will warn you that a healthy Pug from a registered breeder will cost over $1000.
http://dogzonline.com.au/breeds/puppies/pug.asp , is a list of Pug breeders with pups available now. Aren't you lucky? They are both in NSW! One in Bargo and the other in Dapto. http://dogzonline.com.au/breeds/breeders/pug.asp?state=NSW&Submit=Go is a list of Pug breeders that do not have pups available now. Only one in Newcastle, though.
Keep in mind that all reputable breeders will have waiting lists and the waiting list for a Pug puppy is usually pretty long. Don't be afraid to contact more than 2 or 3 breeders and ask about the waiting list, availability etc.. No reputable or ethical breeder will ever sell one of their pups to you if you haven't researched the breed thoroughly. I was asked a lot of questions about Dals when I was enquiring about a puppy but I know that it's just so that they know that their pup will be going to a good, knowledgable home.

White pugs are hard to find because they are a defect. If a breeder has a litter and one was white, they sell it to a pet home, and try not to let out that they had one. No reputable breeder want to admit they have any deformity in their line.

According to the Australian breed standard white is not a permissible show ring color. Therefore very few reputable breeders will be attempting to get white pugs.
Good luck in your search for the holy grail

I've seen a very light fawn, but never a "white". White isn't even mentioned on the AKC website (just silver, fawn and apricot). I would guess, as with a few other breeds, that white is not a desired color therefore reputable/responsible breeders do not breed for or towards that color.

Try this site. If you're wanting a rare color, be prepared to pay quite a bit for it.
