He's 4.5 weeks old, he's got 1 tooth, he's still on gruel, that's the replacement for nursing milk, (mother poisoned by dog food).

I want to get a dog that is compatible with a medium sized apartment. But I don't like small, yappy dogs. I really love the larger breeds, and am not willing to go smaller than a medium sized breed. I am an experienced large dog owner. I've always wanted a Siberian Husky. But it's my understanding that they are very high energy dogs. But I do live a very active lifestyle. Would a Siberian Husky do okay in an apartment if it was exercised frequently? I walk/jog for several miles in the morning. I would also be taking it out multiple times per day to play and walk. There is a large, woodsy park near me with miles of walking trails and large open spaces (although I know it's inadvisable to exercise huskies off the leash). I've already done a fair amount of research into the breed, but was really hoping for opinions specific to my situation. I would also be interested in opinions on other large/larger medium breeds that would do well in this situation.

She also has fleas and ticks and I don't know if the hairless spots are just because of that ?I've bought her medication for that. What should I do?

I got a puppy that is actually 2 days under 6 weeks old and his eyes are blue. He is a miniature jack russell and when they are born they have blue eyes because there eyes have to develop into brown eyes. I know some dogs can have blue eyes and his eyes do look like they are blue like a normal dog. Does anyone know when a dogs eyes change to brown and does anyone think my dogs eyes will change colour?

I have had 4 beagle puppies. They were all acting fine. Then one day two of them were acting sickly. One lost all control of his bowels and died within an hour. The other one lost weight within a day and died after two days, right before he died he had bloody stool. Now a 3rd puppy is sick. Does anyone know what may be the cause of this?

OK here is my problem. I have a 115 lb. male rottie and an 90 lb. female. My female went into heat about a month ago and they bred. My wife told me that the male growled at her through their fence. ( I have a separate yard for my dogs) I went out to see for myself and nothing. A few days ago I had my kids out and had the male on lead. I brought him out to the main yard and the kids were playing and they petted the two dogs. I went back into the dog yard with both the male and the female and had my daughter and wife walk over to the dog yard. My male began to show his teeth as if to bark at my family so I hit him over the head. I then had him sit at the gate and had them come over again. He showed his teeth so I busted him over the head again. He turned toward me and then retreated to his house. Both dogs ran into the house as I yelled and he sat inside growling and would not come out until I called him. He has never acted this way and I was wondering how I could fix this.
