Can you tell me if my Chihuahua has a "apple shape" head or the "deer shape" head?

When he was a pup I thought it was the apple head but now he is older it looks more slick. It doesn't really matter I'm Just curious.

I would say your puppy's head is apple shaped. I think what may be throwing you off is that it's nose is a bit broad.

your chihuahua is an apple head for sure! I also own a little one and have been told by the vet that an apple head, or dear like chihuahua are one in the same. My Bella is just under 3 lbs, and is very tiny in body circumference with long thin legs, and a distinct apple shaped head.

I would say deer...but i'm not really sure what the classifications are for head shapes. All I know is that you have one cute puppy there. Makes me want another :)

In general, the 'deer' is more narrow headed, and usually longer legged as well.
