I would take her to the Vet right away. She could have Canine Hip Dysplasia. This is very common among some breeds and is very painful for them. I’ve enclosed a link with some helpful information. I hope your dog will be OK.

Well, if you listen to some of these other answers you may as well go and get your time machine out of the closet. Some people. They don't know you or your story.

1. Could be due to arthritis, cancer or some other disease. Ask the vet.

2. Could be due to old age. Ask the vet.

3. You should probably get your dog a wheelchair. You go to a specialty shop or http://www.wheelchairsfordogs.com This way walking won't cause her as much pain.

4. But get her to the vet as soon as you possibly can and see if you can get him to prescribe some pain medication for her!

Problem here. If she has ruptured a disc or two, there's a window of time where the dog has to have medical treatment, otherwise, the dog will be permanently in a wheelie walker (supporting her back end). That is, if she doesn't have anything else and recovers. Time is of the essence. Money will be a priority. We can't see or diagnose your dog. Take her to the vet immediately.

At 10 years old, most likely it's arthritis. You should have your vet examine her to determine whats causing her discomfort. If it's arthritis there are some really helpful medications they can try. Good luck.

She most likely has arthritis. Get her to her vet - he can give her medications which will totally control the pain she's living in every moment right now!

At her age, if arthritis is not the cause, she could have diabetes. A vet can easily check for both problems

Go to a VET. Did it occur to you that she might be in pain? cancer? nerve problems? injury?

I hope when you get sick, someone withholds professional medical care from you one day for every day you haven't taken your poor dog to the vet.

and if you can't afford the VET bills, then you shouldn't have a pet.
