he is a raeally friendly dog grate with kids and babies 6months on he has always been a out side dog he wont stay out side any more unless we put the out side light on. if we turn it off he will cry all night

I covered her crate today and she went in and layed down not a sound! How much of the crate should I cover? Why does she bark and whine if there is not a blanket over the crate and when there is one she doesn't so far!?

my friend has a one year and five months month pitbull and he allways hits it near the side of the face with a whip because it barks at night times and the dog now when i go there allways trys to attack you how does this happen?!?!?!

We have been doing research on the computer so that we find the right puppy to add to our family. We own our house and have a great fenced in back yard. We live in a cute neighborhood and there are many dogs here. Most importantly we need a dog that will fit in with our three and four year old children.

My dogs got fleas from the backyard. I want to treat the grass & dogs naturally. Does anyone know if fleas have any enemies? Like mice have cats, and cats have dogs, ect. I would like to treat the yard with whatever will hopefully eat the fleas! Thanks so much.

my 7 month old germansheperd is constanly throwing up today. he looks horrible, and he's laying down right now and sleeping in the back of his cage. he had some lettuce and italian dressings he threw up solid at first but now he's throwing up liquid and he hasn't eaten or drink since this. he threw up around 13 times. please help all the vet places are closed and the nearest animal hospital is about 4 hours away.

Hello! I currently have a 3 year old purebred Border Collie. She's passed obedience at 5 months, excelled at Agility level 1, and when she was a puppy she was constantly taken to a dog park. She gets a long with a few dogs that she's known a long time..but if she sees any others..she freaks right out. I haven't found out yet..thank god..but I'm pretty sure she'd attack them if given the chance. Lately, she'll even jump up to snap at people walking by me. I know she's protective..but this is too much. I've been being really firm with her when she barks at other dogs, and I keep her on a close leash. I punish her for snapping at people, but it doesn't seem to be stopping her. She's settled a bit more in the car when she sees other dogs now..but I'm petrified that one day she'll attack something, and have to be put down. She's fine with everything else..she even plays with the cats I have. But how can I stop her aggressive behavior?

well u think i probably am going crazy .but my dog is talking to me and walking like a human.i didnt want to be crazy but i called a very trustworthy friend and it talked fluently like a scientist this is NOT A JOKE PEOPLE HELP.parents wont listen dog is trying to fool me HELP

My dog goes to the bathroom, then he has to sniff around our WHOLE yard! The problem is, he comes when I'm close to him, but when I'm in the house and call him he won't come! I can't use treats because he won't come when I don't have them. Any other suggestions?

we have a german shephard 2yrs old. he has a habit of eating his own poo. we'd love to know why. we've tried him on different foods
