I got my Yorkie from the website and the breeder linked me to their own website so I could make sure it wasn't any type of puppy mill or anything. I was in contact with a few breeders from the site and always had a good experience.

it is better to find local breeders in you local newspaper than to buy on line or find them in large stores, they are normally from puppy farms that the conditions are not good and the life and health of several are at stake, local breeders that have a pair of dogs allow their dogs to breed once to twice a year and allow the dogs to wean their puppies and raise them for several weeks. this is by far the better route you will get a much healthier dog.

dont buy a dog over the internet no good can come from it, if you want a mutt go to the local shelter if you want a purebred find a breeder and do it that way, buying over the internet is only going to support puppy mills which is illegal

you do not nuy puppies without first meeting the breeder,, meeting both of the parents of the litter etc.. please do not look to support puppy mills..... find which breed you are interested in and then go to akc.org and click on breeder referrals and then on your state.. and look to find a responsible breeder in your area
