Off to the vet you go. This sounds like something that can't wait until Monday, and no one here is going to be able to give you accurate advice. No one can do that without seeing your pet.
My advice, call the clinics, even if they are closed they generally have an answering service that will either connect to you to a vet, or give you an after hours number to call.
If that doesn't work, then is a 4 hour drive really that much of a hassle for your beloved dog?

Alright if the dog has full vaccination history and is just vomiting, with no diarhhea, then don't freak out just yet! First things first, ignore each and everyone who told you to start giving water and Pepto, it is too soon for oral treatments of any kind even water. Pepto will only be vomited up again and make more of a mess than help. If the dog has vomited 13 times, if you offer water now, you will just cause more vomiting too. The stomach spasms for about 2 hours after each vomit episode, and if you offer water the most abrasive substance available and give it while the stomach is spasming, you will induce more vomiting. First I want you to check the dogs hydration by pulling up the skin on the back of the dogs neck and dropping it quickly. If is stays tented up or takes a while to go back down, then the dog is getting dehydrated. If the skin snaps back down immediately then he's still got good hydration and you have time. If he is dehydrated then sorry you have no choice but to drive to the emergency room with him cause he needs IV fluids, but don't give anything more by mouth until then.. You must let the stomach calm down first. If the hydration is still good, then hold off food and water and wait 2 hours. After that start offering a very small amount of water every 15 -20 min as long as no vomit, keep increasing the amounts of water for about 2 hours. Now boil some chicken and rice and offer a very small amount just like you did with water until holding everything down, if it works your home free. If at any point, anything comes up, stop offering anything and go back to a 2 hour wait then start over the whole process again. As long as no diarrhea which dehydrates along with vomiting and could be parvo also, then you are still safe to treat at home, but if both are present go immediately to nearest Animal Emergency Clinic. Good luck This is the advice I'd give if you called the emergency hotline during the night at my emergency clinic.

BUTT OFF THE COMPUTER NOW AND TAKE THE LITTLE CRITTER TO THE VET EVEN IF ITS 4 HOURS AWAY!!! IT can't wait till monday!
Wow since it is Italian dressing it probably has some oil in it. Could you tell us the ingredients on the dressing please it might help? If he is throwing up liquid and is sorta pale it might be bile (we I'm taking what I know about the human body), if you must coax him to frink some fresh water and let him sleep. Call a friend who also has a dog and they might help you. I don't know what harm the lettuce can do to dogs but i'm posotive its in the dressing.
I fell sorry for your dog try to comfort him your best!

If your dog threw up that many times you are risking your dogs
life by not getting him to a vet ASAP. I don't know why you
gave your dog some lettuce and italian dressing. Dogs should
only eat dog food. They can get pretty sick from eating our
food. I don't want you to think I am being mean or anything, but
I know how hard it is to resist giving them our food, when they
sit there watching you eat evey bite of your meal, but don't do it.
Your dog is definetly dihydrated, and he needs lots of water
and try making his dog food soft for him to eat, but only a little
food, cause his stomach is so upset, he may just throw it up
again. Your dog may need medication to help him with this,
I hope he gets better on his own, but don't wait to long before
you take him to the vet.

Most vets have an answering machine that you can leave a message on for the doctor on call. What exactly did your dog eat besides salad and dressing? If that is all it could be your pups stomach is too empty. A very empty stomach can cause vomiting of bile. It's very important you keep your dog from becoming dehydrated. Do all you can to get your dog to drink water or lick ice cubes.....childrens pedialyte would be best.

Do you have any idea if he ate anything else other then the lettuce and Italian dressing? If he's thrown up 13 times already, he's at serious risk of becoming dehydrated, which could lead to an electrolyte imbalance. Is there anyway you can get him to drink some water? Try filling a bowl with cool water, and dipping your fingers in it and letting him lick your fingers.

Dogs cannot digest lettuce and will always throw up if you give them things like this. If he has been throwing up all day he could have something like parvo. Since you haven't taken him to the vet today, I hope if he is still throwing up in the morning you will consider taking him to the vet tomorrow as he could dehydrate and die if he continues to do this over the entire weekend.

I'd say if there is no where to get to, feed him some pepto bismol, It worked for my dog when he was sick and throwing up. Aside from that keep giving him water. When my dog refuses to drink I give him ice cubes and he'll eat them so it's the same thing. Whatever you do, do not let your dog get dehydrated.
If that doesn't work and he is still bad tonight, I'd say call the animal hospital and see if they have any advice at all. If not, drive him there. It could be something serious or just something he ate.

I have the ability to positioned slightly away each and each month. regrettably something continuously comes as much as do away with. final year it replaced into Wyatt being bitten by potential of a rattlesnake and this year it replaced into Callie's eyelid tumor. component of having pets is taking responsiblity of their scientific desires. i could not think of the soreness that doggy replaced into in with 2 broken legs and them not being fastened. If something comes up and its extra then i will cope with and its to lots to make money on, then the dogs would be positioned down, i can't enable an animal go through, ever.

All of the vet places are closed? you should call the animal hospital and ask them if they can help you without you driving all that way. The drive probably wouldn't be very good for your dog.
