i just got this beagle his well tempered and got him from a woman thats a dog catcher and finds homes for them she said his 10 pounds overweight lil barrel look i bought him nutramax low cal dog food type for overweight dogs i had retriever growing up im 33 now anywho how much food should he eat and how many times a day? i read the food bag said 2 1/3 cup for weight lose would that be twice a day? i plan on taking him for walks at least twice a day more in the summer as my family hikes and camps any advice would be helpful thanks

There is nothing out of the ordinary that she ate. She vomited a rather large amount and has since been shaking uncontrollably. What could have caused this? Are there any treatments of any kind?

I have been trying to start my own Pit Bull Kennel but I can't find any information anywhere about how to get a license, rules and regulations, any info would help. I am located in Texas if that matters. I only have two APBT's right now but I will be getting a few more pretty soon. Thanks for the help.

My cocker is due in about 26 days. I want to make sure I have homes for them before theyre old enough to leave. I'm expecting brown, black, and brown and white, black and white. Shes expecting 7 puppies. My two dogs don't have there OFA or Cerf yet since they aren't old enough should I just send them a copy of the results when they hit two. The sire will turn two in november and the dam will turn two in december. This breeding was a total accident. I already have my contracts, Return Only Contract and a spay/neuter contract. Iwant to make sure the puppies find a good home. What questions should I ask? Would it be to much to ask to see the dog at least once a year to make sure they are taken care of? I don't want these puppies to end up in shelters. BTW after researching more about breeding I decided to get Charlie neutered he is too tall and his eyes aren't shaped right

we live in the suburbs with a big fenced year, lots of grass for it. I had dogs growing up, so did my husband but we never had one as a married couple because our first came along only a year after being married. Our sons are ages 9, 5 & 3. In your opinion what is a good dog to fit our family?

Some considerations we have are-
Bernese Mountain Dog (large)
Cavelier King Charles (small)
Australian Shephard (large)

Such as at home, I open the door so friends could leave, and all of a sudden, my dog comes rushing out of the door. I go after him, he runs even more. I stop, he will pee on some bushes etc.
If I walk close to him, he starts to dodge and run even more. I guess it's a good thing he's free from his leash or something. But there are cars in the street and I don't want him to get hurt. And no, there's no fence, this was at my relatives house, not mine.

They are not twin sisters just born on the same date like most pups but one of them is extremely larger than the other one. The smaller one still looks like an 8 week old pup!

recently i knoticed that he has an injury on his front left side of his paw...or more like wrist. the injury is on one of his claws...the one claw on the inside of the dogs wrist higher then all the other claws. i think him and my other dog fought for a sec and he ended up getting his paw injured. hes been licking it and his furr has some brown over the area since the blood has all dried up now and the wound is a pinkish bump? like its swollen. is there any meds that can help aid his injury? he has no problem running around or anything but my dad said it seems to hurt when he jumps.

Once in a while my dog will start to shake and he seems to loose all control of his muscles and his eyes get real big. This last for about two to three minutes. Sometimes he just shakes and growls . He is a choloate lab about five years old he weighs about onehundred and twenty pounds and is on thyroide medication. We are jus afraid that one day he is not going to come out of it. Can anyone help us?
