it was a 185 dollar pay check from my job i got this week and my dog just destroyed it it is a white pitbull what should i do to the dog?!?!?!?!

i had it in a safe place and and put it high so the dog could not reach it and some how it did!

Why didn't you just cash it right away?
A trainer I know told me this once: If your dog got something it wasn't supposed to and destroyed it and/or did something it wasn't supposed to: you should get a newspaper. Roll it up carefully. Then smack yourself over the head with it.
Your dog didn't know anything but it seemed like a fun toy. And trying to punish for this behaviour now is just stupid. The dog won't even realize what you're punishing it for.

Quinton is a IDIOT! Sorry but thats stupid! The dog won't know why he's getting punished and things like that are the reason pit bulls turn on their owners, because their owners are incompetant! Don't punish the dog, just get it reissued, and go on. Thats the only thing logical to do. My pits have done stuff like this and its frustrating but part of having a dog. Especially a pit.

If a pet dog did that to me I would tell him what he did, make him afraid of what it loves by hitting him with it if it's a toy or ball until it looks sorry. If he looked like he enjoyed destroy the check, just plain hit him with a heavy newspaper or your hand if u were saving that money. As for the check take the pieces to your boss and ask him if you could get another check like the first he gave u. When he gives u the check for cryin' out loud KEEP IT IN A SAFE, WALLET, CASH IT, PUT IT IN A BANK, or SPEND IT! Make sure your dog doesn't see the new one or he might do it again.

DO NOT PUNISH YOU DOG!!!!!! It is more or less your fault-not his,it is what dogs do,and if you don't like,then you need to either get rid of the dog :( or find a safer place for the check-it could have fallen to the ground!usually the bank is the best place....
This seems kinda like a "Dog ate my homework" excuse for us to see your dog-witch is very cute ;)-so you need to call your work,your bank ext. but don't hurt your dog!

Go back to you employer and tell them what happened. Ask if they can issue you another check and have the other one voided out. Next time don't leave your check laying around. Dogs of all breeds love tearing up paper.

DONT HIT UR DOG LIKE QUINTON SAID. even you should have been taking care of it. remember dogs are colorblind they dont know what it was. just ask for other pay check. AND CASH RIGHT AWAY . BUT DONT HIT YOUR DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
