i want another big dog thats kind of easy to train or something. or a dog thats good with little kids. any suggestions?

how many dogs do you think constitutes a Puppy Mill, or what other things do you consider it takes to call it a Puppy Mill?Our paper had a kennel where 300 dogs were, and they removed half of them from owner (by the County Humane Shelter ).She had a kennel license for 140 but still had 150,I believe is what the paper said.They removed the ones in poorest health and ones considered unadoptable(not socialized).This is a breeding kennel .

I brought a pomerian pup yesterday, he is 40 days old. He's showing no interest in having the milk I m offering. I made him drink milk with a dropper, bcoz i felt he is too young to drink by the bowl. Would that be the case? Also he's vomitted this morning shortly after having milk. He's very lethargic & is sleeping all the time. Today is a holiday so no doctor will be available. Please help. Also tell me if i should dilute the milk to feed him.

My neighbors have approximately 20+ dogs and this is at 1 neighbor. They don't feed their dogs and they are having puppies every 3 to 6 months. The animals are sooo sickly looking. I have contacted the city police and the sheriffs dept. and they all tell me there is nothing they can do because we don't live in city limits. I am the one feeding these dogs and I am going through about 4 50lb. bags of dog food a week! Who would I contact? I live in Arkansas... Any information would be helpful at this point!

I have tried so much training with him. I can barely get a few drops in his ear. He just squirms away every time. I've tried holding him down, giving him treats, positive reinforcement, everything. Nothing works as soon as I try to put something in his ear. Help!

My puppy sleeps in a separate room (he's almost trained though!) and I wanted to know what's the ideal room temperature so he's comfortable. He's a mini american eskimo, about 20lbs, lots of fur :) thanks!

i got the pizza from a quick trip. brought it home, cooked it, ate half of it and left the resr on the counter 2 or 3 inches from the edge. i went in later to get a slice and found the dog have pulled it off the counter and ate. [one half of a pizza] LARGE PIZZA]
ive been trying to figure out what to do about it. a dog is an animal. theyll eat anything trust me i know.

My hubby came home yesterday with this puppy, I have to wait till monday to take her the vet, but apparently her former owner said that about 6 weeks ago she had eaten some rat poison. She took her to the vets and she had tablets to take, any way she could cope with the dog anymore so my husband took it,
Thing is i've never seen diorreah like it, it's really bad and im not sure what too do shes drinking plenty of water, and i read up that boiled rice seems to help and she seems to be eating it ok only in small amounts though, she looks really bad, shes 8 an 8 month old bull mastiff and i can only discribe her as looking like a whipet.
you can see all her rib bones and spine bones collar bones everything. She does seem playful and shes not throwing up
but i just need advice on what to do for her, Its pityful looking at her.
Any advice would be gratefully apreciated.

My dog is coughing and vomiting but nothing comes out when he does. My mom says that it is distemper or hairballs but I don't think dogs get hairballs. Does anyone know what it is and what I should do?

My Abby is supposed to go tomorrow or Monday to stay at a place that has several dogs..she'll be interacting with.
