.go to your local non kill shelter or look in the newspaper.
but having a dog is not cheap...you have vet bills for immunizations, dog food, leash, color, shampoo, toys, snacks, flea treatments etc.

if you need a "cheap" puppy then chances are you do not understand how expensive it is to be a pet owner. i would never suggest buying a dog, but rather adopting one instead. lots of puppies and doggies need homes and are available through your local animal shelter or humane society. do your research about what it fully entails to be a pet owner and THEN decide if it is the best thing for you AND for the prospective pet you adopt. you must make sure you can afford a good food, flea and tick prevention, regular vet care, all vaccinations, grooming, and any other miscellaneous expenses that may come along. best of luck. email if you have any questions. :-)

I have to say I am a little worried here. A "cheap puppy" means that perhaps you are not finanicailly able to afford a dog. The vet care and proper food can be very expensive. Please reconsider the long term costs involved with pet ownership.

You may be able to find a cheap or free puppy. Please make sure you are able to "properly care" for a pet before getting one.

Try petfinder.com. or check with your local animal shelter. There are lots of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens looking for a good home, where someone can love them for the rest of their lives..

depends on what you want. The local shelter is always a good place. There are also rescue sites. If you want an AKC dog, check your newspapers. There is also recycler.com and craiglist.

At the animal shelter but the cheapest way is to invest in a newspaper and read the classifieds.

IF YOU NEED TO BUY A CHEAP PUPPY, THEN DON'T BUY ONE. THAT USUALLY MEANS YOU WILL NEED TO BUY CHEAP FOOD, AND WON'T BE ABLE TO GET IT FIXED!
