The best treat i think is called Greenies. My dog just loves them and they don't have alot of junk in them. Iams is a really good dog food.
You can ask your vet as well.He might recommend something for you.
Hope this helps.
P.S
If your Yorkie ever seems listless and is not eating or playing give her a little sugar in her water. Yorkies blood sugar can drop quickly and
that will get her moving again. Just a little tip for
your Yorkie

I am a yorkie breeder and I recommend Wellness dry and soft food. No offense to the another person that posted, but I had my dogs on the breed specific royal canine and my female had severe allergies to the corn in it. Old Mother Hubbard makes the Wellness Dog Food and also the treats from all natural ingredients. Since I have switched their food they have done great. I have since bred my female and her puppy is now eating both the soft and dry food as well and doing great. website: www.omhpet.com

You did not properly crate train your dog... the crate is meant to be a SAFE PLACE, and a super rewarding place for your puppy! 8 hours might be a long time for a small breed puppy to hold their potty. I recommend setting an alarm after 3-4 hours, taking her out, then putting her back into the crate. NEVER let her out of the crate while she's barking, or she will bark incessantly in there. ONLY let her out when she's quiet, even for a couple seconds. You should always give her something yummy when she goes into her crate. Get her a small Kong, some bully sticks, pig/lamb ears, nylabones, and various tasty chews (except rawhides, those are unsafe). Fill the Kong up with moist kibble and canned dog food (or plain meat) and freeze it overnight. Give her the Kong in her crate and she'll be occupied with licking it out for hours! (: Toss in a bully stick or a cookie every time you put her into the crate. Never, ever, ever put her in the crate for time out. That's not teaching her anything. If she bites you, make a high pitched squeal (or a growly noise, whatever shocks her into stopping), end the game immediately and play ignore the puppy for a minute. Teach her that the game ends the moment she bites you. Then, grab a tug rope or a chew toy and play with her, teaching her that those are ok for her to chew, and teaching her to inhibit her biting when your hands are close to her mouth. Make sure she gets a good amount of exercise before she goes into her crate. She should be pretty much exhausted before crate time. Try taking her to the dog park (stay on the small dog side)... it's good for teaching her not to bite, and great for socializing & wearing her out. And the dog park is super fun!

Science Diet, the small bites. For dog treats, the dog is going
to need something hard to chew on for it's teeth, so milk bones
are good, and only a little bit, not a whole one. Dogs also love
soft treats, but be careful cause you don't want to give him
anything that isn't really good for him.

Try some beef liver. Cut into bite size pieces and bake at 350 until the liver dries out a bit. Haven't found a dog yet that didn't like these. Very healthy and all natural.
As far as food, I don't recommend puppy food for puppies. Instead get a high quality All Stages food.
Explanation as to why puppy food is BAD for puppies, especially large breed pups: It contains WAY MORE protein than needed. It causes rapid growth, rapid growth then leads to future bone and joint problems. Feeding a high quality all stages food will promote a more desired slow growth, and thus lessen the chances of bone and joint problems later. Puppies should grow up slowly, not spring up like weeds.
In my opinion "puppy" foods should only be fed to pregnant and lactating dogs who actually can use all that extra protein and calcium.
Nothing you find at a grocery store is going to be a good food. High quality foods can be found at large pet store chains, or online. A couple of foods I like are Nutro Natural, Innova, Innova Evo and Cannidae.
There are other high quality dog foods. Here's how to spot them:
A high quality food will have little or no fillers such as corn, wheat or soy. These aren't very digestable for dogs, and are common food related allergens. Since you were seeing corn meal in the first few ingredients, those are not high quality foods. Foods list ingredients by content, with the ingredient it contains most of at the top.
A high quality food will not contain BHT, BHA or Ethoxyquin, these are all chemical preservatives that have been linked to cancer.
A high quality food will not contain by-products of any kind. Meat meals are ok as long as the source of the meat is listed, such as Chicken Meal.
A high quality diet should have meat as at least the first ingredient., and be made from human grade ingredients. Foods that don't use human grade ingredients often get their ingredients from less than desirable sources, such as meat from animals that were diseased, or euthanized.
There is another diet option other than dog food. Some people choose to feed a raw diet. This involves feeding the dog raw meaty bones and organ meat. However it is not as simple as throwing a couple chicken bones in a bowl everyday. If you wish to feed this type of diet, do lots and lots of research first. Switching to this diet without knowing what your doing can lead to nutritional problems for your dog. I'll give you some links as a starting point in research if you are interested in this type of diet.
