recently i knoticed that he has an injury on his front left side of his paw...or more like wrist. the injury is on one of his claws...the one claw on the inside of the dogs wrist higher then all the other claws. i think him and my other dog fought for a sec and he ended up getting his paw injured. hes been licking it and his furr has some brown over the area since the blood has all dried up now and the wound is a pinkish bump? like its swollen. is there any meds that can help aid his injury? he has no problem running around or anything but my dad said it seems to hurt when he jumps.

thnx.

your dog probably has a puncture wound on his first digit - the puncture wound probably closed up and an abscess probably formed - he needs antibiotics to treat it, and he might even need for the abscess to be drained. take him to a vet so they can get a look at it. if you don't take him, it could result in a quite serious infection that could spread to the blood and/or bone - both of which are NOT good.

I had the same problem with my dog, I don't know what happen as well but his paw was bleeding. I took him to the vet they gave him stitches and about 3 week they took it out - because it is a very sensible place for healing it take longer-. My dog could run around like nothing happen but when he jumps it hurts. So my advise please take your pet to the vet so he or she can have a look at his paw - and to give him some medication to prevent any infection.

You need to take him to the vet IMMEDIATLY! Your dog could have quite a serious injury. And for further notice, if your two dogs don't get along, you should try to get them to or keep them seperate before something like this happens again!
