Hi Ryan. I raise and own American Bulldogs. They are intelligent and wonderful dogs if you are looking for a companion. They are temperature sensitive, I keep mine indoors. See my 360 if you want to see my 2 oldest. My male is 12 years old and I have had him all of his life, he is my best friend.

Why are those your choices? If you've researched each breed thoroughly, found out that these were most suitable for your lifestyle, and now you want to select just one, I would just go by your own personal research on which breed would fit in best with your lifestyle.
Rottweilers are extremely powerful dogs that should only have an experienced owner who has plenty of knowledge on training and socializing dogs so that they tolerate strangers. Doberman pinschers tend to be aloof with strangers, so again, an experienced home would be best. Boxers and bulldogs have unnaturally short noses, causing them to be riddled with health problems.
If you're not an experienced dog owner who has in the past trained several dogs to be obedient, or if you don't like the unnatural build of the bulldog and boxer, you should eliminate all these breeds from your list. Take a breed selector quiz and be honest with yourself to get a few new suggestions.
But my top recommendation is going to your local animal shelter and looking at the adult mutts there. There are so many great dogs in shelters who would make a much better pet than a puppy that you think you like the breed of. The shelter staff can also help you to find a dog that will match your lifestyle.

Boxers are known for their friendliness.
Dobermans are known for a genetic problem in which they get violent and demented in old age some times.
Bulldogs are prone to some health problems, such as hip displasia and breathing problems. A bulldog is great for houses as well as apartments, but puppies may be destructive until they reach maturity. They are notorious for snoring, but, contrary to popular belief, bulldogs do not drool.
Rottweilers are the biggest dogs on your list. They are good dogs. In the hands of a responsible owner, a well-trained and socialized Rottweiler can be a reliable, alert dog and a loving companion. An untrained or poorly trained Rottweiler, however, can be destructive and, if allowed to run at large, may pose a significant physical threat due to its size and strength.
My personal choice would be the Doberman. I had one and she was a very clever and loving dog. Of the choices you list, I think the Doberman is the sleekest and most attractive breed.

If you want a dog that isn't mainly a one person dog then either get a boxer or a bulldog. But most of the time your rotties and dobermans don't do good with children, other dogs, and I have had quite a few cases where they don't tolorate other people and that is one reason that you see so many people have them for guard dogs or fighting dogs.

Getting a dog takes time and patience. It all depends on what your home lifestyle is like, and personally judging by the choices of dogs you have you should be able to spend time with them.
My Choice:
BOXER!
All of the boxers I have owned/met have been total sweethearts, and most of them are great with kids. I grew up with them my entire childhood, and loved them ALL!
The only thing to watch out with boxer's is health problems. They are deffinetly not the cheapest dog.

I reccomend that you go to http://www.glowdog.com/bestdog/ to find the dog that you would be most compatible with, or if you don't like the top dog, find the dog that is highest from your choices. That way you can get the best dog and one of the dogs that you want.

Depends... if you ever plan on having children, get a bulldog... they are the only ones that are known for being patient with kids. The rest can make great pets, but I would lean towards a Rottie or a Pitt Bull from my own experience (family members have both).

Who could answer this without more to go on? What traits are you looking for? Decide on that before you decide on what looks you want in a dog. You'll get a much better pet.
