people have to stop hating pitbulls! they are not violent at all! there are way more violent dogs than pitbulls like tosas! its like how people think ipods are the best mp3 players and hulk hogan is the most skilled wrestler! it is crazy!people are so ignorant! study actually shows that labs are more aggresive than pitbulls. i think its true because all the pitbulls i know are nice and calm but all the labs i know are very, very crazy and aggresive. my friend got chased by a lab that was owned by his friend and he saw a loose pitbull in the street and it didnt do nothing to him but lick him. all the labs i know are much more vicious than the pits i know and the pitbulls i see are calm but labs aways try to kill me!!!so what do you guys think?

I was looking into getting one because I saw one at a dow show and it was so cute and this dog was very sweet and laid-back. Does anyone know anything about this breed or maybe own one?

I've looked at websites talking about the breed but I think those types of things are so bland. I wanna know what actual owners think of them??

i have two dogs, one is a puppy (14 weeks 20lbs) that is a boxer/pitt mix... my older dog is a miniature pinscher that is 2 years old and about 10 lbs. my concern is my father in-law...he is convinced that the puppy will kill our little dog one day. sometimes the puppy gets a little to rough when they play but we put him in his place and have him summitt to her. (by laying him on his side untill he calms down) i think for a 14 week old pup he is doing great. he now knows the commands; no bite, drop it, sit, down, come, and stay. i do have experience training large natorious (SP?) "mean" dogs (rotties), lol. but i have never owned a small dog and a large dog together. it seems to me that they really love eachother and cuddle but just everyonce and a while he gets too rough with play, but stops when corrected. so do u think my father in-law is right and one day my big dog will kill my little princess?

I am allergic to both cats and dogs, if I pet either without taking my medicine, my eyes get red and puffy and my asthma flares up (I'm a mess, ha ha). I have always had a family dog in my life, sometimes two, but it has only recently become a problem. What are some types of dogs that most people arn't allergic to? I know poodles are hypo-allergic, but my parents don't want a poodle. Thanks! (also, dogs that are fairly cheap, and common)

I know she doesn't have "arms" but thats the best way I could describe it. Its moist and almost kind of sticky, both arm pits are very red and the area seems to be a bit raised. Anyone know what this is? She also has dry skin and scratches a lot but I've never seen her scratch that area before. I recently switched her food to a higher brand to make her skin problem better.

I have an 8 wk old puppy and she gets very carsick. Just a few minutes in the car and she starts producing rivers of salivia. I want to take her to weekly training classes at Petsmart when she is old enough, but I don't want her to suffer from carsickness every week either. What can I do? Do they make doggy dramamine or anything?

When I bought my puppy, my grandparent's friends bought one from the same litter.

My Grandparents friend is probably in her 50s, single and no children. So i can understand why she wanted to get herself a dog.

But she works for the University here and she is a botonist with my Grandad so she always has to go out of town and goes on field trips. When she's away (which is almost every second week) she leaves her dog with one of her friends. It's always a different person.

Our puppies are 4months old. She works during the day aswell.

I don't think this is fair that she leaves her dog home alone each day and she goes away for a long period of time.

What physcological effect with this have on her dog when she's older? What can I do about it?

I've already spoken to my mum and she said she didn't think it was fair on her puppy.

I asked why? He said becuase it was not good at catching things in its mouth-just like his old girlfriend. What do you think this means? I have been thinking about it, and I just do not get it, and why would you get rid of your dog for such a dumb reason? I suspect he was not being honest with the reason he re-homed his dog.
