I asked why? He said becuase it was not good at catching things in its mouth-just like his old girlfriend. What do you think this means? I have been thinking about it, and I just do not get it, and why would you get rid of your dog for such a dumb reason? I suspect he was not being honest with the reason he re-homed his dog.

Sounds like he did the right thing with his dog. No matter what the reason, if he didn't want the dog then the dog would be better off with someone who wants it.
