No one can diagnose a lump on your dog so I think a trip to the vet is in order. It is better to get the lump evaluated by a vet. Better safe than sorry.

Has this pup been vaccinated? Vaccines are given between the shoulders by some vets. Sometimes you can feel the lump for up to weeks or even months. You should take her in to have the lumped looked at and aspirated. They may be able to tell you what it is.
So the answer to your question is...it may or may not be. You won't know until you see your vet.
Not to alarm you, but boxers do come with a high risk of cancer. So if you are ever concerned, do not hesitate to go to your vet.

Dogs can get cancer from birth to death, at any age at all. Chances are, it isn't cancer, because it's more rare in young dogs, but you can never be sure until you go to your vet. It could be any number of things besides cancer... A bug bite, a benign (harmless) growth, a cyst, an infected hair folicle, or many other things. But just to be sure, I would check with your vet- better safe that sorry. Your vet will probably just feel around to see what he or she thinks about it. He might have to shave the spot to get a better look, or he may be able to give you an answer just feeling it. Either way, let him check it out.

Dogs like any other animal (except for sharks who don't get cancer) can get cancer at any age. Only your vet can tell you for sure, so please take her to the vet. It won't be inexpensive, but she's worth it. Her health is the most important thing and it will ease your mind to know. I hope she's ok. Sometimes lumps just form. My 8 yr old has a couple and they're not serious, just lumps of fat.

I don't imagine it is cancer. She is kind of young. If she just got vaccinations lately that is probably what it is from . Some dogs have a slight site reaction to vaccinations. Usually it causes no problems and will go away. But if your are concerned then contact your vet

Any one or any animal can get cancer at anytime. However, no one on Yahoo can answer this question. You need to take the puppy to the vet and have it check. It is probably nothing but it is better to be safe than sorry. Good luck!!

If it is in the skin and doesnt pop up it is probably cancer or a tumor and would definitely get it checked out...on the other hand if it pops above the skin...it is probably a sist. Bring her to the vet just to make sure even if it is above the skin

No one here can tell if it is cancer. Most likely just a fatty tumor that needs to be removed.
You really shouldn't jump to conclusions or self diagnose something you know nothing about. Make for needless worry.
