We have a lab/visla mix that just had puppies with a basset hound. We are just wondering what they will look like at a year old. Our dog is not even a year old yet.

I have a 10 year old pug. I have had her for 7 years she was a rescue. She recently had a mass removed. Since she has been barking and crying through the night, always thirsty, and seems like she can't wait till morning to go out. What do you think the problem could be. I am getting very frustrated with her.

She is reddy brown with black flecking along her back, like a saddle, and a mask on her head. She looks all Parsons, have been looking and looking to see if I could see another breed in her but can't see any characteristics of any. Thank you for the info I can now say to whoever asks in the future that she is not a crossbreed.

I recently booked a flight on JetBlue, flying with my dog (a Pug). When booking the flight, the rep advised me that if the dog and carrier were a couple of lbs. over the 20 lb. limit (like 1 or 2), they wouldn't give me a hard time; HOWEVER, the 2nd rep I spoke to said that I should be "very careful" and that they very well might turn me away and deny me the ability to take him on the flight...that she had seen a dog be denied at 23 lbs.! Has anyone ever flown with a pet on JetBlue? Can you tell me your experience? I'm really worried now that I will be turned away!! The rep actually told me that perhaps I shouldn't feed my dog too much before I left!! I know the fee in non-refundable.

We're about to buy a small dog - English Toy Terrier - and were wondering about how safe the various ways transporting them were? Our car is a saloon not a hatchback. Can dogs this small use a harness OK? The breeder has recommended a plastic airline style travel box to bring the puppy home and that's what we'll do for that journey. We're thinking about later on when it gets slightly older and for short journeys - e.g. school run/park etc.

Cheers!

A family member had given me a dog almost a year ago. The dog was given to her by a neighbor that was moving and couldn't have pets in the new building. So, the dog was given to me since my family member already had dogs and I didn't have any pets. A few months after the dog was given to me, she offered to take him to the vet for me to get his shots. While there, she secretly had the dog registered in her name. She was family so I thought nothing of it at first but now she has had the dog kidnapped from me right out of my own back yard because we had an argument. She is not saying that I cannot have the dog back (that I've had for almost one year) and that there's nothing I can do since she's registered as the legal owner. Is there nothing at all that I can do to get my dog back? It's needless to say that I'm never going to talk or meet with this person again after what she has done, but how can I get my dog back? Please help. Thanks!

My sister has an absolutely beautiful beagle b*tch and I am getting a pug in a couple of weeks and we are looking into maybe showing them, proble is her dog is spayed and we aren't sure whether or not we can show her. I heard you can if you write to the kennel club for permission, is this true?

My aunt and uncle have a dog and i feel he is being neglected. I can't talk to them about it, as I'm only 14 and they wouldn't like my interfering. I can't call the humane society on them, they would know it was me.I can't bring him into my house as the kennel we do have, is to small for him and that would make my uncle mad. The reasons i feel the dog is being neglected are as follows. When i want out there this morning, it was quite chilly and the dog was curled up into a little ball trying to stay warm, he has no dog house. I brought him some water and he drank almost the whole pan, i know the dog doesn't get much water when he's in the house. The dog is very skinny and has no fat on him. The dogs life isn't in danger, but i still feel he's being neglected. So what i can do to help him?

He does not lick at all, but he gets very snuggly and wags his tail, but he doesn't lick. I'm not complaining, because licking can be a very annoying habit, but I'm wondering if he is showing his affection in another way, or if he's just nuts.
