She is reddy brown with black flecking along her back, like a saddle, and a mask on her head. She looks all Parsons, have been looking and looking to see if I could see another breed in her but can't see any characteristics of any. Thank you for the info I can now say to whoever asks in the future that she is not a crossbreed.

She sounds super cute. It's amazing how varied the JRT/Parson Russells are! Remember, there's nothing 'wrong' with mixed breeds....

If she is not predominately white she is neither a pure bred Parson Russell or a Jack Russell. The breed that is usually described as 'grizzle' is a Border Terrier. She could, of course, be a cross between a Parson and a Border which would result in a grizzle dog.

I now have a Jack russell terrier but used to have a pasons cross terrier when I was young and he was the best dog in the world! He was my pet from 4 years old right up to 21 when he sadly died. They're not cross breeds, they're a breed in their own right and lots of people think that they're mixed. They have longer legs than JRT and look a lot sturdier. They love to escape though so be careful!

She could still be a cross breed!! Dogs can be mutts and say purbred all over them. The only true way to tell is if 1. You have or know bothparents or 2. You have AKC papers on it. And there is nothing wrong with mixes heck I have one!! Just pointing out that you shouldn't say it is purebred but that you think it is purebred. I also have a purbred JRT/PRT and trust me the breed can very in looks back and fourth between looking purebred and looking like a mutt.

there is no such colour as grizzel in parson russells, they can be white or predonminately white with tan ,lemon or black markings or combination preferably confined to head and/or root of tail ,if your dog has a brown back i very much doubt its a parsons because as i say parsons are white
