I've a Border Collie pup and once he's a bit older I'd love to do flyball or agility but I'm in my 50s and not that fit though I do walk a lot so I just wondered if I had any chance. It looks such fun but if its a team or competative I don't suppose I'd be much good.

I have tried spraying him with water when he barks and saying NO in a loud firm voice but it makes no difference. I have also tried waiting for him to be quiet and then treating him but after the treat he'll go back to normal. I have started to ignore it but it continues for over 2o minutes. He doesn't act the same with my husband. Neither dog makes a peep when he goes outside. He's also extremely hyperactive and generally doesn't listen to me when he's off lead. He is the oldest (1 year) and the other is 10 months (female). Any suggestions?

My 9 month old Dobe Blitz is current on his shots. We were at the dog park and one thing led to another and he was tripple teamed by a trio of yellow labs (all different owners). One lab had a pretty good hold of his ear and the others just snapped at him and barked as he was pulled around by his ear. He has a cut/bite below his left ear where it folds, a few small bite/scrapes inside his ear and a puncture wound on the top of his head...this one worries me a little...when cleaning the wound puss comes out...and the area looks swolen...Can I use a Tripple anti-biotic on him, and what are some signs to watch out for? what type of antibiotics can he receive? Thank you in advance for you help.

i just got a new puppy yesterday and all day today she has been whining and crying for no reason. ive kept her fed and given her plenty of water and played with her all day except for when she is sleeping for obvious reasons. but it seems like every thing upsets her to the point of crying. i know that the day before we got her she got her first shots and deworming so could that be upsetting her stomach or making her feel crappy? or maybe that she was the last to be bought out of the littler so as far fetched as it sounds she is depressed and misses her siblings? we have a cat that has been playing with her whenever she wants so i figured that would have helped with the missing her siblings or being bored. so i honestly have no idea what could be upsetting her so much.
