What do you think of this German Shepherd we have here at our kennel? We took him in from another breeder, and I have been working him here. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/498965.html

I have a 16 year old all white half german sheaperd half Wolf. He's had a good 15 years but the last year, its all been going down hill. He doesnt eat anymore, hardly moves. Just sits in one spot. His hind legs "lock up" and is unable to move them often. He has no control over where he "poops" and the vet says hes going deaf. He has these cancer looking things on this legs which he has had over 3 surgeries for but they recently just came back! My parents dont want to and i dont either, but they think we should put him down, It breaks my heart seeing him like that but i wanna know, should we do that or let him go on his own?

Well let me start by saying that I have a great dog who ran away about 1 month ago. we're still looking, and I'm still hoping that I'm gonna find her. One of my neighbors gave me a puppy because his mom was going to go dump him somewhere if he couldn't get rid of him (HOW CRUEL) and he's just too adorable, I just feel as if I'm betraying my dog in a weird way. I'm afraid to get attached (hard not to), but the puppy deserves a great home, lots of love, attention and we CAN offer him that. Should I just take him to animal shelter or give up hope?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Help!!!

My Dobe has been shedding an unusual amount of fur for the past two weeks and I'm wondering if something is wrong. I give her 2 Stresstabs daily and feed her on Pedigree / Rice.

I know kennels are an option, but when I go away on vacation I will be leaving for a week and my dog isn't very good with other dogs and other people. I have a chihuahua that will be a little over a year old when I leave for vacation, and he can't come with me. He is crate trained and is very good with that, I was thinking about having people he knows, like close friends and family come let him outside and play with him and stuff while I'm gone. I'm very attached to him and I want his vacation from me to go well, so if anyone has any tips on this I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

My dog might've eaten her own poo. And now she's puking every few minutes. What can I give her to at least slow down the puking? Or maybe even stop it

My pit bull chews and licks her feet and some times she cries. I have noticed that she has blisters between her toes some times. I have taken her to the vet but the vet was very rude and short with me. She was really quick, she quickly came in the room and then out. She said my dog had allergies and that she could pass them to her offspring is she becomes pregnant. She gave me some pills but they did not work. I even vacuum often and I keep my house clean and dust free. She is indoors mostly so I don't know what it could be? What else can I do? Can it be the dog food I feed her?

What would the outcome of a male chiuaua and a female pit bull? I have a medium sized playful and friendly pit bull. When she went into heat this little chiuaua appeared. He would whine and cry at my door at all hours of the day and NIGHT trying to get to her. When she would go out to pee he would try to do his thang with her ut she is still young so she would move too much and I never SAW it work out. But what do you think would happen is it did? What kind of dog would it be? Tempermental? Mini pit? Buff Chiuaua?

My german shepherd plays really rough with her puppies. They are 9 weeks old. She bites at their necks and legs. Is this normal? Should we let her do this? The puppies scream their heads off when she does this.

I am planning on living alone in a one bedroom apartment next semester and I was wondering if it would be a wise decision to get a dog to live with me. I don't plan on taking too many classes and I don't work very much so the dog wouldn't be alone much. I was actually thinking about participating in a service dog program that way the dog could come with me to class as well. Please give me some input on the issue. All suggestions and recommendations are appreciated!

I heard from a co-worker that using Febreeze in an area where she kept her birds (not directly spraying at the birds or cages) killed her birds. I have asked around and been told that Febreeze is harmful to small pets.

I use it all the time in my home, dog beds, couches, etc.

I haven't researched Febreeze yet (I do plan on it) or talked to my vet about it, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard of Febreeze being dangerous to animals.

Thanks.

This will be her second litter but her first with us. I read on another site that I should have almost like a doctors bagon hand to in case she needs the help. I live only 6 blocks from her vet, but if she goes into labor after hours, I want to make sure I have everything I need. How many have had pugs that have had a c-section? How do you know if they need to have one?

My 4yr old bi tch is getting spayed on tuesday,i know the vet will give me advice on her after care, but im just interested to hear other peoples points of view on after care and how she will be or act.I feel kind of guilty doing this to her,as i beleive in dogs living as nature intended, but i know in the long run its best for her.Im more wary as our cat died on the operating table a year ago,and my dog is petrified of the vets. What are the chances of anything series happening?thanks all.

It is on the outside of his lip. It apparently has been there for quite a while, as it is quite large. It is very difficult to hold him still and he is very protective of that area. I think it probably hurts him. He licks off anything that we have tried to put on it.
