I just got a dog this weekend and named her after certain traits or things she does. such as; I have a pit/retreiver; and she follows behind me everywhere I go. So I named her shadow. she also likes to kinda hide in the dark spots by the couch or in the corner so it fits her very well. and goes with her color which is a dark chocolate brown.
but some other names you could go with are:
Diamond
Chyna(china just with y) or japan
Onyx
Fefe
Casey
Cynthia
shay
mini

A Husky I saw once was named Kiana. Don't know what it means, but the name stuck to me. I really like it, and she was a gorgeous dog.
