GET RID OF ONE...PROBLEM ENDS

2007-03-11 03:20:09 · answer #1 · answered by michael b 5 · 0 1

If you by yourself You don't WATER DOES NOT WORK PEOPLE. Once the dogs are thick into a fight they either fight it out or you have two people can do it. We have shepherds and the two males have gotten into a couple time. use to work just reach grabbing a tail and pulling but the last two times that was not works so we Pinch next to their balls and waited for one of them to let go so they could be hauled off.

NO way water works when dogs fight they kick into over drive and unless they get tied or one gets killed it is pretty much impossible for one person to sperate them.

Even the times when my one female and the big male got into it beating them with boom handles just broke.

AND for god stake stay away from they mouths not sure how it happend but last time I got 5 stitche for my trouble and a $350 doctor bill.

When they fight show aggression towards both so that they know YOU are the boss and you won't accept any bad behaviour! Don't hurt them of course, that's not necessary.
But seriously, they're probably sorting out the pecking order so you maybe need to establish one, if you've had one dog the longest you should feed it first, give it treats first, talk to it first etc to show that it has a higher ranking than the other dog. They may be pets but they're also dogs and will always have instincts.

i used to work in a kennel that bred mastiffs for show, they had several types and one was tosa inu, they are so aggressive they dont even breed to well, but otherwise they are good with people, so i broke up a few dog fights in my day

the easiest way to stop a dog fight is to have one person grab on dogs back leg and the other grab the others back legs and flip them on thier backs, they will release immediatly

MIchel b i think that you are out of your mind if someone loves a dog they just cant get rid of them. I have a dog just like that so allyou do is give the stronger one to anyone who is very strong and then you have to pull back on his or her leash. Once they have gotten their energy out you let them sniff eachother.

try pouring cold water

do not use hot water
do not try to manually separate them, you will get bitten.

two male dogs will probably fight even if they are from the same litter.

try raising a male and female

some methods are available on the following pages, use them at your own discretion

just squirt 'em on the nose with cold water. If they come away give them a treat. If they don't keep doing it.
