I have 2 dogs and the dog pads seem to be made so thin these days. Both my dogs stay inside all the time and they use the pads everyday. The last pads I bought had seems all the way down them and were stuck together. I called the company and they are making them good. Was wondering if any others had the same problem with the puppy and adult out pads.? Thanks for any replies in advance.

She is a 7 year old female pitbull ,we noticed it swollen and droopy, and we thought maybe she got bit by a spider or something? it's been about a week and does'nt seem to be getting any better, could she have had a stroke? haven't notice anything different about her as far as her character or any physical limitations. what could it be?

My 1 yr old dane mix was eating my coonhound's poo so I fed the coonhound Deter. A frew days later the dane who has a VERY healthy appetite quit eating but I attributed this to the Deter and didn't worry. When a few more days went by and he still wouldn't eat and was losing weight I took him to the vet - who said he had a gastric ulcer and possibly Addison's disease (we get the results tom.) They kept him for 3 days with an IV - his electrolytes were low - and his 2nd night he actually ate so they sent him back home. The day he came home (yesterday) he looked anorexic but happy, then this morning I found him laying in the rain and mud and he tried to get up and fell over. We took him to the emergency vet and he began to have bloody diarrhea and they kept him and tried their best for a few hours but he bled to death. He has not gotten into any kind of poison and has always been healthy until now - and the timinig with respect to the Deter seems fishy. Any possibility it is related?

We live out in the country but still have neighbors. I have a 70 lb lab and a 6 month old golden retriever mix that is just as big as the lab. I have tried about everything to keep my lab from leaving the yard. She jumps chain link fence and what she can't jump she'll climb. Has snapped both chains and collars. We got a heavy collar and chain and she'll jump and spin until the collar spins off her neck. This is really our last option. We are not wanting to spend thousands of dollars putting up a six foot privacy fence for a house we are not going to stay in. I am just wanting to find out how these fences work and how well they work. Some ppl say shock, some say vibration.

I am at my wits end with the walking on the leash thing. I haven’t lost my temper with him, but I do everything…I act like a plain fool on the sidewalks…cheering, jumping up and down, waving toys or treats…when he doesn’t want to move, he won’t move. He has had plenty of opportunities to practice & learn as we have had him for a week and I take him out no less than 15 times a day to potty…I will give him gentle tugs on the leash and try to get him motivated, but he doesn’t care. It is incredibly frustrating. I know hound dogs are very sensitive, so I can’t lose my temper, get mad, or violently drag him…I feel like he doesn’t care about praise (being really happy and excited saying “good boy”) and he isn’t really motivated by food or treats. To me, this is very odd. I have tried the Iams biscuits and the Bil-Jac Liver Treats…he seems to enjoy the liver treats, but he won’t work for them while on the leash.

My female is in full blown heat, but my male isn't interested. Any ideas why? This is an important breeding, and my male just doesn't seem to be interested past licking my female. She is ready to breed, but he doesn't seem to know what to do... They are both of breeding age, and my female has had a litter before. This will be my male's first time (second try!) and he just doesn't seem to get the idea. Has anyone else ever faced this problem? Any solutions?
